  1. *squinting my eyes at you* well played. I really dig the Cloud reverb, which is what I try to mimic. Cloudburst is pretty cool too. This video pretty much sums the sounds I would love to mimic without losing clarity. So lush. *drooling Sorry, as I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death
  2. Hey guys, I think we all know Strymon is among the gold standard of Reverbs. To mimic I've been using Glitz and then Ganymede after in series. I've never had a Strymon to compare, but would it make more sense to run the reverbs parallel? Just looking for insight and ideas. I'm still a noob. Am I in the ballpark with these 2 reverbs combined?
  3. Exactly, this setting affects all presets. But what if I had a singular preset where I wanted this setting to be "active", and my others presets I don't care if what is done in stomp mode affects the snapshot. More of a curiosity than a want or desire for me.
  4. Ah ok I get it now. That works for me! Too bad it's global as opposed to effective per preset. I appreciate the info! Thanks!
  5. So I have my preset setup with snapshots that I use for a single song. If there is a impromtu last second song requested, I would like to click on preset-stomp and turn on/off effects to match the new song. Now lets say, that song finishes, I would like to go back to my snapshots without them being affected by what was done in preset-stomp mode. Can I do this?
  6. Hey guys, forgive me if this was asked already. I have my snapshots set up the way I like. If a song on the fly comes up, I want to be able to go into Stomp mode and click on whatever effects I want without overwriting my snapshots. Kind of like keeping snapshot/stomp independent. Is this possible?
  7. I appreciate the response. Other than checking if the IR is Normalized, am I on the right path in my acoustic setup?
  8. Hey guys, A while ago I bought an Acoustic IR from Selah Sounds. I dig it, sounds great with my Martin, but.... It's sooo low! My flow is this: Compressor - Studio Tube Pre (mic sensitivity) - Acoustic IR - Parametric EQ - Reverb I have the preamp level cranked to 10, Gain 6 IR is cranked from -18db to 0 I just wanted to be sure that so far this is "normal"? I added a gain block, after the IR, to test and cranked it to +10 which makes the volume better, but wasn't sure if I'm approaching this correctly. Any thoughts?
  9. I appreciate the responses, I'll give them a try and see if they fit what I need. Thanks guys!!

    Delay setting

Hey guys, need help with setting delay to do a specific repeat. The song is 120bpm I need a setting that hits and then repeats in “1 and” “2 and” “3 and”… Meaning if I pick on 1, I’d like to hear the delay on “1 and”. So far I can only get it to hit back in 2..3..4 i hope my explanation makes sense. It’s driving me nuts lol.
  11. For my preset I like being able to send either an even split to 2 parallel delays, or delays in series. That was the purpose for me wanting to use A/B split. What threw me off was the volume change which I resolved by increasing the merge block by +3db. I only do this when I am splitting only to path A. There is no volume issue when doing an even split. I use my expression pedal strictly for volume. Not a fan of how hard I need to click to get it to switch to EXP 2. I'm still deciding if I want to get a separate expression pedal for WAH or other sweep adjustments. Thanks guys for providing feedback!! Still have much to learn!
  12. Cool, will check it out! Thanks man!
  13. I just came across this while tweaking my presets after a live event. I like the idea of notes whether it be a separate screen or in HX edit. I like to scribble what worked, what didn't, what to change, what to try, what guitar I used...
  14. Can someone help confirm if the volume difference is what happens when choosing A/B split vs Y split?
  15. So I just gave it a try, I have a copy of my patch so that I can see the difference back and forth. One patch uses the Y split, the other one now has the A/B split. I found that the new A/B patch I created is much softer that the Y patch. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing or right/wrong. Any thoughts?
