  1. That did it! Crazy, I thought the blue switch just reversed setting. Like Heel would be 100 and Toe 0. I also did have to invert the setting for EXP3 that I'm using. Cool, thank you!
  2. Hey guys! I got a Dunlop DVP5 (8) to use as my volume pedal. I plugged in a TRS cable from EXP3 into EXP. It's recognized but when moving the pedal forward I hit 100% volume about halfway. If I continue to move my toe forward the volume begins to cycle back down to 0. I want it to be a single 0-100 sweep from heel to toe. Any ideas what is wrong?
  3. Cool videos! I appreciate your responses, thank you!
  4. Maybe this was said earlier, maybe possible, maybe not. I would love: A frequency analyzer/meter to better judge what my output is looking like. Sometimes going by ear doesn't always help. Most of my tweaks are at home with headphones, then I go to the venue. To be able to see visually what my sound is doing while getting feedback from my sound guy would better help me fine tune my patches and snapshots. I know the sound guy is there to mix and do his part but I want to make sure I can do as much as I can within Helix to make adjustments. Example: Lead solo snapshot that is clipping even though I'm making cuts. Too much cuts and then all of a sudden I'm being buried and sound harsh and thin. Also, I'm not a fan of having to open up different apps on my computer in order to visually see frequency graphs. Hope that made sense. If you have tips/tricks regarding this, please message me!
  5. Hey guys! So I now have more effects than switches on my setup. Nuts! lol I was able to assign 2 effects to a single switch so that it alternates from 1 to the other but Is there a way to also have it so that the same switch has both effects turned off? Meaning: Click and effect 1 is on/2 is off. Click again and effect 1 is off/2 is on. Click again and both are off. I know I can use snapshots but there are times where using stomp modes works best for on-the-fly moments.
  6. *squinting my eyes at you* well played. I really dig the Cloud reverb, which is what I try to mimic. Cloudburst is pretty cool too. This video pretty much sums the sounds I would love to mimic without losing clarity. So lush. *drooling Sorry, as I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death
  7. Hey guys, I think we all know Strymon is among the gold standard of Reverbs. To mimic I've been using Glitz and then Ganymede after in series. I've never had a Strymon to compare, but would it make more sense to run the reverbs parallel? Just looking for insight and ideas. I'm still a noob. Am I in the ballpark with these 2 reverbs combined?
  8. Exactly, this setting affects all presets. But what if I had a singular preset where I wanted this setting to be "active", and my others presets I don't care if what is done in stomp mode affects the snapshot. More of a curiosity than a want or desire for me.
  9. Ah ok I get it now. That works for me! Too bad it's global as opposed to effective per preset. I appreciate the info! Thanks!
  10. So I have my preset setup with snapshots that I use for a single song. If there is a impromtu last second song requested, I would like to click on preset-stomp and turn on/off effects to match the new song. Now lets say, that song finishes, I would like to go back to my snapshots without them being affected by what was done in preset-stomp mode. Can I do this?
  11. Hey guys, forgive me if this was asked already. I have my snapshots set up the way I like. If a song on the fly comes up, I want to be able to go into Stomp mode and click on whatever effects I want without overwriting my snapshots. Kind of like keeping snapshot/stomp independent. Is this possible?
  12. I appreciate the response. Other than checking if the IR is Normalized, am I on the right path in my acoustic setup?
  13. Hey guys, A while ago I bought an Acoustic IR from Selah Sounds. I dig it, sounds great with my Martin, but.... It's sooo low! My flow is this: Compressor - Studio Tube Pre (mic sensitivity) - Acoustic IR - Parametric EQ - Reverb I have the preamp level cranked to 10, Gain 6 IR is cranked from -18db to 0 I just wanted to be sure that so far this is "normal"? I added a gain block, after the IR, to test and cranked it to +10 which makes the volume better, but wasn't sure if I'm approaching this correctly. Any thoughts?
  14. I appreciate the responses, I'll give them a try and see if they fit what I need. Thanks guys!!

    Delay setting

Hey guys, need help with setting delay to do a specific repeat. The song is 120bpm I need a setting that hits and then repeats in “1 and” “2 and” “3 and”… Meaning if I pick on 1, I’d like to hear the delay on “1 and”. So far I can only get it to hit back in 2..3..4 i hope my explanation makes sense. It’s driving me nuts lol.
