  1. I can't find anything regarding the use of the Nektar Pacer with a POD HD except that apparently presets exist so it must work.
  2. The FCB1010 looks a bit too tedious to deal with. Any knowledge on the Nektar Pacer?
  3. My FBV mkii broke some time ago so I've just been switching patches the old school way. I was looking for a new FBV Shortboard MKii but they're now discontinued, and so not in stock anywhere and unfortunately very rare in used condition in my area, which even when they do pop up are usually being sold with POD units or cabs and so on. FBV 3 is a last resort, given the price. I've been looking into MIDI foot controllers and I sort of get the impression they can work with POD HD, but to what extent is not clear.. The Nektar Pacer seems like it could work as it has a POD preset, but I cannot find a video of anyone using this combination. Could anyone give me the rundown on alternative foot controllers? I only need to switch between the 4 channels and activate as many stomps as I can. I don't care for DAW control, setlists, loopers.. Just channel the 4 channels and a bunch of stomps will do. Optional external exp for wah and volume is good but whatever is okay. FCB1010 looks alright, but whether it works or not I don't know?
  4. Unfortunately it doesn't. Might think about upgrading. Thanks!
  5. Crazy question. Is it possible to record POD HD Desktop using the USB (so i can re-amp and all that) but still using my Focusrite 2i4 as the interface?
  6. Ah. Sooo, there is no loss of quality or anything and it's fine to record out of one output?
  7. Hey. I use POD HD desktop line outs into Focusrite 2i4. Just wondering whether it matters if i use both left and right line outs or if i can just use the left? I don't use dual amp settings or any effects panning so it should be okay to dual track mono and pan left and right in my DAW and it'll sound the same yeah?
  8. There is indeed, i figured it out. It was explained in the HD Desktop FAQ here on Line6. If you hold the Enter button the pedal assign menu appears and you can press the foot switches and it will assign for you. I suppose it is silly to ask, but with the FBV Shortboard MKii i can only assign 4 effects to be controlled, plus wah or volume, right?
  9. Is that the only way to do it? And would i have to do this every time i create a new patch? I was hoping to be able to change the settings on the unit without connecting to a PC.
  10. Hey. Not sure what the deal is with the Stomp, Modulation, Delay and Reverb switches. They trigger a different effect on each of my patches. Not sure how to assign the correct switches to the right pedals?
  11. The house i'm living in is brand new, my roommates and i are the first occupants. Line 6 also says the 2 pin DC-3g adapter is fine. I have no clue what to do about it. Whatever the case i give up, it's too confusing for me to care about anymore lol..
  12. Line 6 support at the moment is saying the POD has to be serviced. I'm not happy about that though..
  13. Well if you happen to get one of these "power conditioners", please let me know if it works.
  14. I tried a few different cables and sets of headphones, also a couple of other guitars. Though, two of the three cables were the same model, as were two of the three sets of headphones, but still all the same buzz. One guitar had single coil pickups so that doesn't help much (the buzz was about the same anyway). The other guitar had humbuckers, and was old but had about the same buzz also. By the way my guitar is an 8 string guitar with DiMarzio D-Activator 8's. The guitar i mentioned that did not buzz was a 6 string with DiMarzio Crunch Lab/Liquifire pickups. So both these guitars had fairly hot pickups and both setup and wired by the same tech. Is it normal for the buzz to change if i touch the POD? I'm still curious about whether the two pinned DC adapter is the problem?
