  1. When trying to get my FS6 modes dialed in the way I wanted, I came across a strange behavior in the Stadium UI: I had FS6 (Mode) 1 set to "Combo", already. Not sure if this is required to duplicate the problem, but just in case. (Also, what's with "Mode" being alone in parens? Shouldn't it be "FS6 (Mode 1)" or "FS6 Mode: 1"?) When changing "FS6 (Mode) 2" with the pop-up help displaying, the big help display will display the value selected down at the knob until I turn all the way to the right to "Combo". Once I turn to "Combo", the pop-up help stays on "Transport" and turning the knob stops changing anything. It's stuck there. It stays stuck until I press the knob down and then the help and the value over the knob are back in sync and I can adjust the value, again... until I turn it to all the way to the right to "Combo", and then it locks up, again. Anybody else seen this happen?
  2. I just posted on Reddit about this issue. As background, I have about 100 presets on my Helix Floor where I saved them all with the volume rocked all the way back (so that I didn't get blasted if I forgot to turn my guitar volume knob down when switching presets). This way, I select a new preset, then make sure my strings are muted or guitar volume is down, and then I rock the volume pedal. With these presets imported to the Stadium, switching to the preset leaves the volume at what it was, switching to another snapshot leaves it up, and then switching back to the initial snapshot sets the volume to zero. This seems to have happened with the global setting for the pedal set to Global or Preset. I'll have to see if there are some more global settings about this because, now that I think about it, it's the Helix's treatment of the volume level that seems idiosyncratic; if the volume were being treated exactly like all other effect parameters, I'd expect that the snapshot would record any values that are changed after switching to it. It's only because pedal volume is something we usually expect to not change across snapshots... I wonder if it is given special treatment by the Helix.
  3. Just to add a data point, I've had the same problem with the feedbacker not showing up in the list. It's really frustrating because I would suspect that I wasn't looking in the right place, and then I'd double-check with the interwebs that it was, indeed, supposed to be at the bottom of Dynamics->Mono, but my list would stop at Autoswell. In fact, I think I've only had the feedbacker show up once, and that might have been on a new, blank patch. I've tried adding it to my existing patches, and the feedbacker wasn't there... even when I deleted a lot of the DSP-heavy effects like amp/cab. The next thing I'm going to try is restoring one of my patches from backup to see if maybe patches carried over from before the upgrade have something about them which cause the new OS to glitch.
  4. I must concur. I have two G10's... used them both for years with no issues. I upgraded one to the new firmware and, now, I get maybe 10 minutes of playing out of it, and then it quits. Maybe it's not charging at all, anymore, but I'm sure not going to 'upgrade' my other one.
  5. I've got a relatively new Helix (bought about 2 months ago), and, lately, I've noticed that, after it has been left on for a couple of days, the scribble strips get stuck on what they're displaying (I've got the Helix set to use all of the switches as effects on/off switches, so the patch selections should only come up when I press Bank Up or Bank Down). Problem is, when I press Bank Up/Down, the strips don't change... they're stuck displaying the names of the effects. If I press one of the footswitches, the patch does change, but the scribble-strips never get updated... they're stuck at displaying the effects from the old patch. Restarting the Helix fixes it... for a couple of days. This running firmware 2.92, I believe (Helix Edit says I'm up-to-date). Has anybody else experienced this? Is there a known fix?
  6. That's unfortunate. When I was deciding between the Helix and the Headrush, it seemed that this was the one aspect where Headrush nailed it. Having a list of uniquely-named patches (in the same way that our computers have folders of uniquely-named files) where you then have setlists of subsets of those patches, ordered in a particular way, seems like the way of the future. Well, if any engineers from Line6 read this and consider implementing it, what would be extra cool would be if you could also sort by other characteristics of the patch (like how distorted the patch seems to be, or how heavy the modulation seems to be, etc.) That would be very handy when you're trying to find a good starter patch to build off of.
  7. Although I feel that the preset browser (when you press the "Preset" wheel and then use the hat switch on the right) makes it much more handy to find patches than on my old GT-3 (where you had to just step through the banks), it would be a lot more handy if there were a way to see the list sorted by name (sorting just one setlist would be an improvement, but it would be ideal to see a sorted list of all patches from all setlists). Is there a way to get a sorted view?
