  1. Hello, I've had my UX2 since 2011 and it's been pretty reliable and stable for the most part. I'm working on a midi based project and there's a certain moment in the project where the UX2 tends to crash out during a build-up section in the song. There are only a handful of tracks and instruments with minimal automation FX so I'm doubting that it's a RAM or Processor overload. The odd thing is that the UX2 can handle this part of the song while I was working on it, but when I play the song from the beginning and it eventually gets to that part, it will crash. After it crashes, Cubase won't be able to detect the UX2 driver and I'll have to restart. There doesn't seem to be a clipping issue in the song and I couldn't imagine why it keeps crashing out. I'm short on ideas and considering purchasing another interface since I need to finish this project within a week. Any help would be appreciated, thank you! 2. Hello all! Hoping you can help me with an issue I have only been having as of late. After the recent reformat of my hard drive, and installation of the latest UX2 drivers, whenever I have my DAW (Cubase 6.5) open, it will not allow me to play any audio outside of the DAW. This has never been a problem before. For instance, if I were to compare my mix in Cubase to something on YouTube or iTunes, I would get an message saying that the sound card encountered an error. Yet everything in my DAW still plays to perfection. It is as if the sound card could only be occupied by one program at a time, however when I had Pod Farm open, it still plays that flawlessly, just nothing outside of Pod Farm or Cubase. I have Windows 7. Like I said, this had never been an issue before. Could this have something to do with settings inside of my DAW? It seems to me like it's more related to the set up of the sound card (UX2). Any comments? Questions? Answers? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
