Have a look look at the below. Not sure if this assists you? Depends on what you are using to play through - amp, speakers or a combination etc. If your interface can deal with an FX loop it might be possible.
I have purchased two Mackie Studio monitors (MR8 MK3) and have set up a wet, dry, wet mix. I have connected the two Mackies to the two out connectors. I’ve then set up an FX loop connected to my amp. The distortion and compression are set up to go to my amp and the delays, reverb and modulation are sent to the monitors. I can then use the mix control on the Firehawk to balance the sound. So far I’m blown away with the result. Still early days, but the clarity you get from the amp combined with the full spread of wet through the Mackies is astounding.
This set up is in my home. I’ll soon be relocating to a larger music room and I’m sure the overall effect will only get better with the Mackies further apart.
Another bonus is that when you play backing tracks through the Mackies they just sound awesome. The definition is incredible. It reminds me of the first time I bought and used some high quality Headphones for listening to music. You just hear so much more detail!
