Hey everyone, I just recently updated from the HD500 to the Helix LT! I was having issues with my 500 not sending to my JTV correctly, resetting and flashing it didn't work, but I just bit the bullet and bought a Helix. JTV works great now, and wow am I impressed with this pedal! I am still trying to get used to the functionality of it all, but it seems endless! I think it is still much more user friendly than the 500. Any tips or anything for you guys who have been running it for a while? I have found that setting my footswitches to stomps/presets sure helps the ease of switching. Still trying to incorporate how that is going to work along side snapshots. Which is taking me some time to dial in, but it is certainly an awesome feature! Not sure what one I will end up as my go to... Only 1 problem I have found so far...the functionality between my Helix and my DT amp! Not very impressed that I can't seamlessly switch my amp from a brand new pedal. Seems kinda stubborn for Line6 to have the digital link, but not be able to use it for its full intention. I can still get sound through the Link, but it makes my amp go crazy upon first startup. I have to toggle switches at random before I can get any sound through it, I guess maybe i'll be switching back to a 1/4"...It's one of those instants for me where I like to go DI to a PA, but sometimes the system is not great so I use the amp instead. It was nice just to carry a single XLR for both tasks...

I know this is a pretty old thread...BUT I have a few questions.... I have owned my JTV for a while now, and just bought myself a DT25 combo which is AMAZING! BUT anyways... I have always just used the dial on my JTV to change the tuning, but it occurred to me that that should be able to be done via a footswitch! Well...I can't seem to find a seamless way to do that. I have duplicated my tone, and had my tuning saved to each one. I can switch between the two tones fine and it changes my tuning. Problem being it's not really seamless. I also had to switch from using footswitch mode 5-8 back to ABCD. There is always a sync time between them that seems to "SKIP" Has anyone figured out a nice way to do this, or shall I just stick with my rotary switch???
