  1. It's not the Electric misstress, she's flanging properly. I went and plugged it in to another amp.
  2. yeah just one output and i'm running back into the POD on the LEFT effects return (mono), I used line and stomp. No I haven't tried without it connected to editor. I'm going to go at lunch to a music store and hook up the pedal to an amp and see if it is the pedal itself. I'd use my DT 25 but i blew the tubes playing on a float Friday hooked up to a generator but that's a whole other thread
  3. yeah mix was at 100% when I initially set the loop on the edit.
  4. I'm trying to install a deluxe Electric mistress in the effects loop of my HD 500. I'm getting very little of the Mistress's effect coming thru. I've played around with the send and receive levels and the mix on the HD edit. I can her slight Flanging effect but nothing close to what the 's capabilities are. on the POD: Send-->guitar in on the pedal. "flanged out on the pedal--->return on the HD 500 Any Ideas? Bill
  5. Thanks everybody!! I'm am going to go with the mic option as to get that last little missing piece of growl out of the amp. So.....does anybody know where the cab's sweet spot is? :D on azis? off axis? edge of speaker?
  6. Hi Everyone! I know I've seen this topic on here before but can't find it to answer my question. i have a HD 500 L6 linked to a DT 25 head and Dt 25 cabinet. I'm currently using the full range XLR output on the back of the Dt 25 head running into our mixing board. It sounds just ok. However, if I use the left and right XLR outs or the 1/4" left and right outs on the HD 500 into the board, the tone is completely thin and synthetic sounding and sounds nothing like the original patch. The BEST tone i've gotten is using the headphone output of the HD 500 to 2 RCA cables into one of the stereo channels on the board, however, this doesn't give me volume control (it's a line source input, RCA jacks) How can I use the stereo XLR outs into the board and have the full original intended tone?!?! And I HAVE played around with the output switches near the expression pedal, this makes no difference at all. Thanks, Bill
  7. I'm using a POD HD 500 and a DT25 connected ONLY by the L6 link. Does the output selector even matter since all the date is running thru the L6 Link? also I installed the new firmware and now the POD thru the DT25 sounds like CRAP (fat bastard accent) for example, on the acoustic guitar Line 6 patches there's WAY too much bass when I strum an open chord, so much so that it distorts the speaker in the DT25. the patches that I have made sound completely different now even though all the settings were maintained when I did the update. some factory patches don't even come thru, they're silent. The whole 2/3 of the dream rig now sounds like CRAP!! *note, i'm playing in low volume mode. Another way to describe some other patches is: it sounds like i'm listening to it from another room, or there's a box over the DT25 if that helps.
  8. Can garageband on ipad use the mobile POD for it's effects? I.E. can the mobile pod effects be used in Garageband?
