  1. So you are basicly saying that when I have a 1/4" cable connected to the l/mono input, both xlr outputs would be automaticly mono?
  2. If i have the xlr-y cable plugged in at all times will the 1/4" l/mono signal be overriden by the xlr cable. Would the combined l and r signal be louder than only 1 channel?
  3. Well, read post #4. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?p=31902424#post31902424
  4. Hi, i use the blue compressor on my lead patch for added volume and sustain. The problem is that when i go direct, i get this horrible clicking(clipping noise on the start of each note. I got medium/hi output pickups, so i have set the switch from line to pad on the pod. Is there a way to lower the attack, so i dont get this noise?
  5. Hi, if i only use 1 xlr out, i will get a mono signal, but if i connect a 1/4" cable to my stage monitor live, while xlr runs to the house PA, will it still be mono in both outputs (since im using 1 of each)? Will the signal be the same as running only 1 cable, or will the signals be overidden by each other?
  6. Hi, i have a pod hd500 that i would like to record in 24 bit, 44.1khz. I read somewhere that the default settings on the unit is 24 bit, 48khz. Is there anywhere on the pod i can change this down to 44.1khz? I have another soundcard. When i open reaper (my recording software), i can type in "44100" at the "request sample rate" window, and i can go to sound settings in windows and choose 24 bit and 44.1 hz, but is there a way to choose the sample rate in the actual POD HD500 unit, so it dosent get resampled before it is recorded? Btw, the reason i want the sample rate to be 44.1khz is that everything else i do in the project is 44.1khz. Thank you. Also, i got another question regarding the pod hd500 model. If i run 1 line out to my stage monitor and 1 xlr out to the pa, will one of the outputs be overidden by the other, or will the sound quality be the same?
  7. Hi,when i got my pod hd500 back from repair, the power supply was broken. Not the whole thing, but the europeian 2 round pin adapter. I have no clue where i can get a replacement... Does all pod hd's use the same power supply?
  8. Hi, on solos i use the "boost comp" fx to get louder and clearer/ balanced in solos. This works great when im plugged into a real amp, but when i use pa or headphones headphones and set the output to direct, i get a annoying clipping noise at the start of each note. Its not my headphones. Any fix for this?
