  1. I was looking for some new Helix videos and to my surprise I found one by the son of a friend of mine, Tony Camponova. Apparently he's a line 6 product specialist in and around the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I remember him coming into the music store where I worked, and wanted me to show him things. The student becomes the teacher... Ha. Check it out. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Qt63tbx5Ncc
  2. On a side note... I was looking on-line for some good Helix videos and to my surprise I found one by the son of a good friend of mine, Tony Camponova. I remember him coming into the music store where I worked and wanted me to show him things. The student becomes the teacher... Ha Check it out. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Qt63tbx5Ncc
  3. Yea, I'm the one who posted that 4 fx block patch. Don't really know how it happened and it was during an earlier firmware state. I haven't been back to it yet but does it still allow you to use 4fx blocks?
  4. Lag time much better. Actually usable. Still getting a little noise on patch chances but has been lowered and might work for my next gig. THANK YOU... I'm gigging tomorrow night and this couldn't have come at a better time. Well maybe a few weeks ago would have been better. Ha...
  5. But still for future models, it would be nice to be able to keep the product current for awhile...
  6. As a video editor, with a constant back-log of projects to complete, I know the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Perhaps a gentle nudge from all the Firehawk users wouldn't be a bad idea. Just by joining in this thread and letting them (Line 6) know we are patiently waiting. So here's my 2 cents... First cent... The obvious problems with slow patch change and noise that accompanies it. Second cent.... Maybe a way to be able to purchase more models and effects via model pacs. Now lets see if we can get all the Firehawk users to unite..... Please post your thoughts...
  7. Hey Iknowathingortwo, Thanks for the reply and it's good knowing someone is working on it. Yea I've placed a distortion on one of the fx blocks that I could switch on and off from the buttons but it's not as nice as being able to switch the whole patch. Also the second row of buttons could stand to be a little taller so as to not be causing me to tap all the wrong ones around it. I think someone needs to create some snap on caps that would make them a 1/2 inch taller that they are.
  8. I'm getting a loud popping sound when I switch between my distortion patch back to my clean patch and it's making me crazy and my fellow band members are ready to dis-member my member. Does anyone have any suggestions are is this part of the firehawk's issues.

    FX Loop

Could end up being a feature if we could figure out how to switch it from fx loop to fx block and back again.

    FX Loop

    Sorry, try again.

    FX Loop

I created the tone from one of the preset tones before I updated the firmware. Should be in the cloud now.

    FX Loop

Here's a screenshot. Seems to be the only patch I can find without an fx loop and an extra flex fx block. Strange, but could come in handy.
