Yes, I have reinstalled windows many times and I know how to backup. This is lollipop software man. I'm not going to sugarcoat anything. I just glad I got the damn thing working again because it was pure hell. I'm grateful to the persons who helped me.

Maybe the Axe Fx doesn't have the issues LINE 6 has with updates. Jeez. Maybe they can do an update without freezing up the processor, life would be a lot easier. The PodHD edit is so buggy that's what deleted all my presets. Software is beyond terrible. Never doing an update again.

Thanks it worked, but I erased all the settings I made for myself buy selecting "All" rather than "Setlist". Now I have to start over. I'm beginning to think is this thing even worth it, or should I just save up and get an AXEFX. <_<

How do you go about uploading those presets. I've deleted most of mine through the harrowing process of updating flash.

How do you go about getting the effects back? I don't want to go through the flash thing again. It's a major headache.

Finally got it to work. I used a different usb port on the back of the computer. Now most of the effects are gone except for a few.

I read several. Some people solved but most did not. I bought this almost 4 yrs ago and now I started to use it and it doesn't work. What the hell?

I have restarted many times to update this and keep getting an error message. Not sure what the problem is. The firmware has updated, but the flash will not. Any answers?
