  1. Dear Line 6, Please put some time and effort into improving the search functionality for Amplifi tones. The current method of only being able to do a text search in the application is very limited and frustrating. Also, my iTunes library is limited, so tone matching is not an option for songs and artists that I don't own according to apple. Below is a list of search options and functionality that would be nice to have and make searching and sharing tones much easier. Include the Amplifi tones in the "Customtone" page on this site ^. I don't carry my IPad around all the time and when I do have it, I'm usually not in an area that has WiFi, so I'm not able to use the app. However, I do have a phone (not an apple phone) that has access to the internet and I have a computer at work. It would be awesome if I could sign in to this website and look for tones that I would like to try out. Since you've opened the gates and let us view all the available tones from this site and we're logged in with the same ID/Password that we use for the app, you should allow us to flag tones that we can later download to the app. Also, since we're on this site and logged in, you should allow us to rate the tones and sort the lists by rating. Add some search options to the app. It would be nice to just be able to browse all available tones or browse by categories. Search: All Tones; By Artist; By genre; By Date; By User; By Rating; Most of these elements are already available in the data you have attached to each tone, so why not allow us to use them for searching. Give us a blank canvas. I would like to be able to create a tone from scratch. I want a "New Tone" button in the app. It's nice that I can download a tone and alter it to suite my needs, but this is not the same as creating one from my own imagination. I'm new to Amplifi and this community, so if this subject has been brought up before I apologies. And if these features are already available, please point me to were I can find them.
  2. I wasn't sure about this either so I used the Google Tubes. The first YouTube link turned out to be pretty good and gives an excellent basic explanation of the how and why parts. Bellow is the search results from "How to mic a guitar amp" and a direct link to the YouTube video. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=how%20to%20mic%20a%20guitar%20amp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7ArZ5ElkxE Hope this helps.
  3. The default MOD button setting on the FBV MKII Shortboard turns on the Tremolo effect (cc92 val 127 / cc92 val 0). I figured out that if I change the value from a preset to "Custom", you can edit the value of the cc/val pair so that it doesn't sound like crap. You can also assign any number you want to the cc part of the pair and customize what the buttons do. I would like to play around with these settings and cc/val pairs to experiment. Can anyone point me to a list of ALL MIDI CC commands and what they are, and, point me to a list of MIDI CC commands that the Spider Jam supports? Thanks in advance
