I have experienced the same thing, and I noticed a few others have mentioned this as well. When I reloaded the patches that I had saved (ones I created or downloaded from custom tone) they sounded extremely bright, thin and harsh. Unfortunately I did this right before I had a recording session. It didn't go well. I don't think it's the Impedance because I had it set to Auto before and now I believe they are all defaulted to Auto. If Line6 tweaked any of the Global Settings or amp models it would be good to know what changed so I could adjust.

I had all of the same issues you are having. I uninstalled the editor, installed the latest version, rebooted my computer, connected the Helix, updated to 2.0, disconnected the Helix, did the 9&10 button restart. It seems to have solved the problem. I think it was disconnecting the USB when restarting that solved the problem, for whatever reason.
