Is it possible to run a tube amp panned to one side for one patch, and a PA speaker panned to the other side for a separate patch, without having to switch between line output and amp output? I'd like to run a stereo rig with my Variax. I have a peavey 5150ii that I want to use for my distorted tone, and a powered monitor for acoustic and clean sounds (live, I would run direct to soundboard instead of powered monitor). I'd hate to have to compromise with one or the other, or have to bend over to flip the output switch every time I want to switch. Would it really make a difference if I left it on one or the other? Or does anybody have a solution? It would be cool if line 6 made it programmable by patch in a future unit.
