Thanks for the replies, the bottom right output does work , & I also did it with out the amp, sounded like a AM radio with little Volume,,

I am using the 4 cable method, using my marshalls for most of my tone & the helix for effects, (an old jmp 50 watt & a jcm 900) We hooked up the 900 & everything worked as it should, I thought the 50 watt would sound better for the venue we were playing,, Here is where the problem happened, The send & return from the helix got hooked up to the speaker outputs on the marshall & the cabinets got plugged into the effects send/return of the marshall, After that I lost the mono/left output on the Helix. Just a little bit of sound with the helix volume cranked, ,, I plugged into the 1 below (Right) & I have Normal output. Is there enough voltage from the speaker out to have fried the output On the Helix, Any suggestions,, I have been using line 6 for years & the Helix is By far the coolest Unit I have had,,, Would now Be hard to do gigs with out it,,,

Just moved up from the HD500X to the helix, I just got this from Ebay & Trying to figure out how to install the Editor so I can download some tones, It says I am running 2.20.0. Is there a newer update & if I install it, will I loose the presets that are on here There are some good ones on this that I would like to save but I can not access it, With the hd 500x It was easy to navigate through,, Any suggestions would be great while I am trying to learn my way with this,

Just bought the 500x. from ebay. I have had the 1/2 dozen other line 6 products, When I hook the usb cable I hear the connect sound. But it will not install the drivers. tried for the last 2 hours trying to down load new drivers & monkey. What am I not doing.. thanks

How can I use my x3 for effects only. I have tried the 4 cable method,the 3 cable & the 2 cable. when ever I plug into the effects loop it " turns off" the sound of the amp. are there some settings I need to change. any suggestions would be grealy appreciated. I have looked at most of the you tube videos of how to hook it up. & nothing seem to work. thanks

this does it on ALL tone 2 settings,, got it figured out. My outputs got changed... don't know how but. Thanks for the help

I was trying to edit some tones this morning. x3 live. don't know what happened but I can not get any sound on tone 2 , then a messazge oxfe from server forbidden popped up. reinstalled gear box but still no sound. misfit toys fx was appearing on on presets on tone 2, any ideas

I am using a marshall 100 watt. coming out of effects loop return to live out, guitar to input., Everything thing else works & can be edited except for the master volume

Just moved up to the x3 live. The master Volume will not work on any patch. Any ideas on how to set up or what to look for.

I just bought a xt live. Monkey will reconize it. but I cannot get the editor to down load. I get this message (This item is installed, but its version could not be determined.) I have had pods for years & never had this problem before. Any ideas.
