  1. So I picked up a used Powercab Plus 212 for use with my Stadium XL. Had it all setup and working well for a few days, but not fully knowing what settings might have been tweaked and what not, I decided to start fresh with it. The first step was to make sure I was running a clean version of the firmware, which was also my last step. What happened: I'm on a Windows 11 machine, had the powercab plugged directly into a USB port on the computer. (No hub) Grabbed the latest Line 6 Updater and let it go. It got some portion of the way through, popped up an error in the updater app saying that the update failed and that I needed to power cycle the powercab and start again. That was all she wrote. When powering on, I can hear the PSU click. I get no screen on the powercab at all. What I have tried: I opened a case with Line 6. Pete has been quite helpful in offering some troubleshooting steps. Various internet forums have offered other steps. Here's what I've done: Held down various combinations of buttons while powering on: Home button Edit button Save button Home + edit Home + save Save + edit Did all of the above with and without the USB cable plugged into the powercab Did all of that while holding the buttons down and releasing as soon as I heard the PSU click Did all of that while holding the buttons down ~5 seconds after the click Did all of that while holding the buttons down ~10 seconds after the click Tried different ports on the windows computer Rebooted the windows computer Tried my MacBook Where it stands now: No combination of gymnastics so far has resulted in anything other than regret for having tried loading firmware. Rightfully so, Line 6 can't do much as it is an out of warranty unit, I get it. There's one authorized repair shop near me, however they are showing very little interest in working on the thing. I assume them to just be busy, but that doesn't help my very heavy, slightly expensive, oversized paperweight that sounded fairly nice for a couple of days. Most internet searches are coming up empty, though I stumbled on a discussion that implied that there may be a logic board of sorts that can be easily replaced and comes with little risk of personal injury as it is completely separate from the poweramp. I've not found any pictures, nor a specific part number. I've not yet taken the thing apart to look. I figured I'd ask here before going too much further. So, kind internet friends and Line 6 fans ... any ideas? Any known wizardry, sacrificial offerings (within reason), chants or incantations that might help? Anyone know what magical part it might be and as importantly, where I can buy one?
