Hi db0451, my line6 ux8 has a problem too, which I am trying to debug. The schematic of the main board would be very useful. Did you get any success from line6 support? The 5 leads IC you are looking for is the top234yn of power integration, but in my pcb is just labelled u57, maybe it's an older pcb. I took a picture, if you tell me how to post it. Regards.
