I recently gave up on a MainStage-oriented setup (with the Softstep by Keith McMillen) and moved to the HD 500x. Guess you and me switchin' keeps balance in the Force, eh? Best of luck.

Cant detect JTV, usb flashing red

I've had my JTV-69 and am able to use it with the battery (though that doesn't keep a charge for very long), but have yet to succeed in getting it to work with the USB interface. I see a green light on the USB side and a blinking red light on the variax cable side. I'm running the latest workbench / variax / monkey software and it "sees" the USB interface...but no guitar. Suggestions?
