FYI to all. I tried the Moshi USB to ethernet adapter, as mentioned in this thread, but it did not work. My USB stick still worked in the pass through port, but the Stagescape didn't recognize the ethernet/router. I had to switch to the regular Apple brand adapter, and then it all worked. Moshi must have changed the innards, or something. Good luck!
