  1. I use the Line6 FBV MK2 Shortboard, which is great, and the LED is visible in both daylight AND low light situations. I DO however have a problem with it, which I'm hoping you guys can answer. I tend to use two or three patches, with multiple effects in each. I like switching on and off individual effects but find that I only have 4 switches to do this (labeled Stomp, Modulation, Delay etc). I'd like to assign a unique switch to each effect across the patches, so for example FS1 always triggers distortion, FS3 always triggers delay etc, but am running out of switches unless I use the bottom row, which of course tend to be for patch switching, which I DO still need. Any way around this? Or will the Behringer FCB1010 be my only option?
  2. Thanks. Powered up the unit this morning, albeit with no guitar or foot switch connected. Seemed to be stable. I'll just have to leave it a few days and observe what's happening.
  3. Hi all. Noticed tonight that my HD Pro X patches were doing something weird. Whenever I'd change patch, the display would flick between the amp/fx blocks view and the Amp controls view, and the amp volume would flick between 1/2 % of wherever I set and saved it. For example, if I assign a volume of 65%, it would flick between 65 and 66%. I also noticed that whereas before the tap tempo light on the floorboard and the tap light on the front of the unit would be perfectly in sync, now they were drifting away from each other. The tempo light on the floorboard would be consistent with the delay tempo, but the one on the unit itself would be out of time. Overheating issue? The unit WAS getting hot! Or does this point to a deeper (more terminal) issue?
  4. That worked a treat thanks Silverhead :)
  5. I have a POD HD Pro X, with a FBV2 Shortboard. I want to set up a patch so that I can switch the Wah in the patch on and off with the expression toe switch, and then control the sweep of the wah with the expression pedal, just as you would a normal wah. The Wah is positioned in the appropriate place in the chain, but off by default. The red wah light on the FBV is on. The exp pedal has been assigned to the Wah effect block. However, when I press the expression pedal toe switch to activate the Wah, the green 'volume' led on the FBV is activated. Rocking the expression pedal back and forth does not active the Wah sweep, in fact it does nothing. What am I missing?
  6. Yeah I appreciate that - I know what it is!! But I want something that's at least as heavy as a standard guitar lead so it will lie flat under its own weight onstage. Every cat5 cable I've come across is lightweight and therefore coils all over the place.
  7. So I've just got my hands on the FBV 2 Shortboard to drive my POD HD Pro X. I have to say, the quality of the cable is absolutely shocking! No way that's going to stand up to modern touring. Has anyone here replaced their cable for something heavier and more durable? Something that will at least lie flat on a stage?
  8. This might sound like a stupid question, but try as I might, I cant find the answer to this anywhere. How do I get the delay times on my POD HD Pro X patches to display in MS rather than the way its currently set up, for note values?
