Hi All, Followed your advice and removed the bridge, and gently extracted the individual pickups. I sprayed some contact cleaner into the empty saddles and refitted the pickups. All is working now. The small pickups can't be turned round as the little wire enters on the one side. Hopefully this does it. Thanks again for all the advice. Cheers

Hi, I have a Variax Standard with an intermittent 3rd string. When I move the wammy bar the string cuts in and out. Any Ideas? I do electronics for a living so could trouble shoot if required. Any tips before I take the guitar apart? Cheers

Hi. As an aside to this, I've got an issue where I have an external expression pedal plugged into EXP2 on my HD500. EXP2 is assigned to Volume with EXP1 assigned to a Wah. Sometimes I am able to use both with the same patch, other times only one of them works. I can see the "pot" changing position in Edit on my PC, but the sound doesn't change. I have done a global reset after saving my bundle, no change, so I'm thinking of reinstalling the firmware using Monkey. Any Ideas?
