  1. Hi, I had the same problem a while back. I tried everything mentioned here and more but in my case it turned out be as simple as updating the driver in the pc not the HD unit.
  2. My unit froze during a flash update and it was no longer possible to establish communcation. There are a number of threads on this subject suggesting different remedial actions. The solution in my case was to re-install the the Line6 drivers (downloaded from this site) on my laptop. This allowed the computer to "see" the unit again and let me re-flash the latest version.
