According to the manual, the Speaker Mode microphone modelling is applied to XLR outputs but not the USB output. This seems like an unnecessary restriction eg. if recording directly into a DAW. Could this option be added in a future update or is there a technical reason why it isn't possible?

I haven't tried it in a band situation but I'm sure it would be fine. It's very loud. I've seen posts on this forum where people are using it live and they say it works well. Yes, I use an IRT-X with my Helix and it’s brilliant. It feels like an actual amp. I’m planning on buying a second one for stereo. Highly recommended.
