I had a static issue on a 2014 Mac Mini and the UX2. I had static in Logic Pro X and while using Pod Farm 2. Guess what fixed it for me? I rebooted the computer.. voila no more static. I feel like an idiot for trying all these other fixes without rebooting first. Derp.
