Hi all, Can someone explain the difference between the physical EQ knobs on the POD HD500X unit, and the digital EQ fx stomp boxes (such as the parametric EQ, graphic EQ, etc...)? Are the phyiscal EQ knobs used purely to change the EQ of the amp, as if you had a real amp in front of you and turning the knobs on it? If that is the case, why would anyone want to use the digital fx EQ's in their signal chain, when you can just use the physical knobs? Thanks.

Hello all, Quick question about the POD HD500x. Say I want to record a guitar cover. In my headphones, I want to hear the original song mixed with my guitar signal. However, I only want to record the guitar signal over USB. Can I simply plug the POD HD500x into my computer with the USB cable, play the original song into the POD HD500x over USB using iTunes, and then when I record in Audacity, have only the guitar signal be recorded through the USB cable as well? I guess what I am asking is, can I play the original song into the POD HD500x (and then into my headphones) over USB, while also recording the guitar signal into Audacity over USB at the same time? Or will I need to use the MP3 input for the original song? If so, will the MP3 input also be sent over the USB recording, or will only the guitar signal? Sorry if that is confusing. Thank you!

Hello all, I am getting my HD500x this week. I am really excited! I am getting the HD500x since I simply cannot play my Marshall tube amp in my apartment. It is simply too loud. I will mostly be playing the HD500x through headphones, however, it would be nice to have some sort of PA/speaker setup so that I can play out loud if I want too. Currently, the only speakers I have are the Logitech Z523. I currently use these with my computer for just playing music, and they sound great for that. Will these be good enough to get me a decent enough sound for playing my HD500x through? If so, then great. Are PA speakers similar to guitar amps where they sound better when they are cranked? I am not looking to spend more than $100. Please let me know if you think my current computer speakers I talked about above will do the job to get me a decent tone to jam with, and if not, could you tell me if the ones I linked would be better? Or maybe recommend some? It is crucial that they sound good at apartment bedroom volume levels. Thank you!!!

Hello all, I will be getting the FX100 in a few days. My main goal here is to listen to my guitar and my Spotify music all through my headphones. My plan is to connect my guitar to the FX100 and connect my iPhone via Bluetooth. I will then play a song through Spotify, and listen to the guitar/Spotify blend through my headphones (I will connect my headphones to the "phones" connection in the back of the FX100). My question is, when I play a song with Spotify, will I still be able to use the Amplifi Remote App without it stopping the Spotify stream? I just downloaded the Amplifi Remote App, played a song via Spotify, and switched back to the Amplifi Remote App on my iPhone, and the music did keep playing and I could play with the Amp settings on the "Editor" screen, so this gives me hope. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.
