  1. Well, that is really helpful, thanks for explaining. I thought it was just switching between some (many, haha) preset values. Got it! Back to stomp ;}
  2. What I mean is that if I click on the number on the right top of the screen (let's say that is 20) I have to click maybe a hundred times before I'm back where I started, 20. Maybe I'm missing something but if I tap the tap (8th) switch on the XL I also have to tap that switch 100 times before I'm back at 20. So my point is, if I want to tap from 20 to let's say 100 there's some 50 numbers in between. So what am I missing here?
  3. Hi, I have a Stomp XL and I'm discovering the last function I have not used, tap tempo. I use HX Edit to make all my presets and I noticed that if I click on the number, top right screen, it changes the tempo value but there seems to be an strange large number of values there, including double ones and strange sequences like 46 - 46.2 - 46.3 - etc. Is there a way to reset all of those or somehow clean that up? Cause If I tap on the somp now I need tons of clicks to find a useful value.
  4. Stomp Xl user here, brand new going into a brand new Blackstar h5-MRII with 4cm. Quite a big sound change as soon as I switch back to guitar only in front of amp. Back to 4cm setup on a new preset with no blocks, or only a fx block much brighter sound. Not good imho. Although the sound sounds ok, haha.
  5. To keep this thread alive, I have the XL, latest firmware, connect with 4cm to my blackstar ht-5 mkII and orange cab. Sound is finally awesome, this is the 5th amp I tried, including a Laney 112 frfr cab (which sounded very fake). Anyway, I have the whole rig powered with one power switch and when everything is on and ready I have no sound until I flick the volume knob of my stomp xl. Didn't have that problem with any of the other amps I tried out (1 koch, 2 marshalls, 1 laney). Anybody experienced this too? I'm thinking that maybe the Blackstar is ready before the XL and it needs a volume refresh (or current change) before it accepts signal. Who knows what's happening?
