Running into a bit of an issue here. I had this working on my old PC via the computer's sound system, however, I have built a new PC and cannot seem to resolve the issue. When I did it last time, I remember it being a significant struggle, but I resolved the issue. Here are the players:
Line 6 GX
Pod Farm 2.56
Custom build i7 Core PC
nVidia 1080 OC edition (which also handles the sound driver)
There are no audio ports to use, as the sound comes through the HDMI cable, so I cannot just connect it to the GX Toneport with an audio input.
I have been wracking my brain to figure out how I did this the last time. Its the same Line 6 GX, and I had it on an i5 Core PC with an nvidia 960, which also had the HDMI connection for sound.
Would anyone have any insights? Anyone know why the Line 6 GX registers to Windows as a speaker and not an input device?
