I use my Helix into the Aux in of an Amplifi 150 (so bypassing the built in modelling) it works fine - however it's not loud enough to gig with, it's fine for bedroom volume or home studio monitoring though. I already had the Amplifi but I wouldn't buy one specially for this job - you'd be better off plugging in to the the effects return of a decent amp if you need live/band volumes.
