I was experiencing this issue, so I opened it up, and the ribbon cable did not look loose, but pushing on it did fix my issue. Thanks! P.S. for future readers: to open the chassis you must remove all the screws, even the ones on the side, you can use a small torx bit, even though it's not actually a torx screw.
