  1. Yes I am new to Helix, I just found a video that explained the spillover feature in the global settings. Problem solved. But thank you for your response.
  2. Hey guys, Im having an issue with my effects not trailing off when I do a patch change. Im running a Diezel VH-4 with the 4 cable method. When I change patches my effects aren't trailing over. I have the trails turned on, but it does nothing when I switch patches. It works if I don't change patches, say I turn a delay on and off in the same patch it will trail off, but it doesn't spill over to the next patch when I switch. Any suggestions?
  3. Hey guys I am running a Diezel VH-4 with a Helix Floor. I am running 4 cable method and switching amp channels via midi. When I switch amp channels there is a latency click/pop and the effects don't spill over. Am I doing something wrong? I have seen people say 'oh well thats your a downside of running a multi-effects unit.' Not true, my TC G-System switched flawlessly, cleanly, quietly, and the effects spilled over and trailed off the way they should. Im very frustrated with this, to the point I may seek other gear options.
  4. OK I HAVE A FIX!!!! SO...I went on YouTube and saw few different videos. One guy said he swapped out his Line 6 USB cable with his old crappy printer cable and it worked. I don't have that old crappy printer cable, however I didn't think it would be a cable issue because I can count on one hand how many times I've used this cable. I am a touring guitar tech so I went with my instincts on this one and it worked...I took a can of compressed air and blew out all of the cable openings and input on helix. Then I took a can of electronic cleaner and sprayed out the ends of my cable and the USB input on my helix, and then once again with the compressed air and it worked immediately. I hope this helps.
  5. just happened to me me too.
  6. I have the same issue with my Diezel VH-4. I run the 4 cable method and use the midi to switch channels on my amp and it pops when I switch channels and patches very disappointed with this issue. Didn’t have this problem with my TC G-System. Any ideas???
  7. Will Helix Stomp change channels on my amp with the built in midi in/out?
