Also found an answer by psarkissian Posted 24 May 2017 - 02:20 PM If you change string gauges, a full set-up should be done,... by an authorized service center who know the product. Changing gauges, changes the tension and therefore changes the set-up. Have a full set-up done. Au revoir et merci. X

Hello from Xavier in France, I've got a JTV 89 F and I'd like to switch to 10-52 strings set. This would be the first time I change from the set it came with: Do you think I should let it be done by a Line6 Service Center or could it be done by my usual (not Line6) luthier? Thank you in anticipation for your kind advice. X
