Hey all I have just recently purchased a second hand POD HD500X and coming from individual analog pedals, I have so much to learn! A few questions - if I want to make my own presets, 1. Do I do this directly on the unit and 2. Do they save over the preset that I am editing and 3. Is there a way to develop my own presets not touching the ones in 1a to 16d? Similar to above, If I wanted to download a preset from the line 6 website, does this save over one of the existing ones or is there a way to save it in a new location? I know I should read the manuals but hoping to learn aome tricks here! Thanks!

.....and If I jump onto the line 6 site to download some presets / tones, do these save over the existing ones or does it create a new like of presets? Sorry for all the questions!

I also did a factory reset and this cleaned things up for me a little. Is there a way to create my own presets without overriding the current presets from 1a -16d? .... like a preset starting from 17? I know odd question but I am still trying to work it all out, so many options! Thanks guys

Hi there. Just got a second hand HD500X. Never used a unit like this before so working it all out. How do I switch Best of HD to Heavy to...? When I turned it on I expected Son of Plexi at 1A but it was old tape - I now know (thanks to your document) that I need to toggle through - not sure how! Cheerd
