after troubleshooting for hours when my helix wouldnt update, and dealing with huge errors like blank screens in update mode and loading screens having multiple helix product logos...
I made sure helix editor and updater were up to date and was trying everything i could find on the forums and nothing worked. finally, i downloaded the 2.21 firmware onto my mac and started helix in update mode (power up holding footswitches 6 and 12) and chose the update file on my mac desktop and it worked! Hope this helps somebody!
