  1. I'm using an iPad app called Loopy that communicates with my Amplifi 150 in both directions using the the USB. You need the camera adapter for your iPad, which comes with a USB socket. No fuss, no setups, just plug and play. Loopy records from the Amplifi and then plays back to the Amplifi through the USB cable. It's great. The only improvement you'd have with a built in looper would be the ability to control the looper with the shortboard, but Loopy is easy to run with a simple finger touch. Loops can be saved and played back later. Enjoy.
  2. Good news. The replacement amp is fine. It was a defect in the first one.
  3. Yeah. I took it back & they're going to source another one for me. I tried an Amplifi 30 that was on-hand & it was fine. Interestingly we tried another Strat with the 150 and found the same fault.
  4. The best way to hear it is to pluck all strings simultaneously with your fingers. I play that way some of the time. It's not so evident with my acoustic guitar, which makes me wonder about some sort of interaction with single coil pickups. The Aria is absolutely fine with a normal amp.
  5. It happens with all presets & is most evident with the clean ones.
  6. I am using an Aria Strat copy with an Amplifi 150. When I strum I get immediate sound, then a sudden increase in volume after about half a second. The guitar doesn't do this with a normal amp. This is really annoying and I'm considering taking it back to the shop. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
