I own Spider V 240 combo, I just took the back off and installed some non fiberglass insulation, about three and a half to four inches. Stapled down sides top and bottom. WOW!!! what a much better sound. I use a POD 500X and now I enjoy 100% better, no hallow sound try it you will be much more satisfied with your Spider V combo amps.
