I've toggled it on and off. No joy. I've also swapped all cables, guitars, everything that can be changed.

Hi there. Did you have any luck with this issue. I have the exact same problem and have been tearing my hair out for months over it. Recorded sounds great, monitors/Headrush/PA sound like they're under water. I too have come to the conclusion threre is a problem with the unit. Thanks.
