Yea good advice, I am sure that will work but right now my UX2 is not working (too much hum). So I do not have a sound card only the single mic input on my laptop. I was hoping the HD500X would combine the inputs for me.

Thanks, I should't have to do that. Both the guitar and the music I am play via the CD/MP3 jack feed into the HD500X. Using the HD software, I should be able to mix the CD?MPS sound with the guitar?

Hi, I am sure this question has been answered but I simply can't find it. Anyhow, is there a way to patch the CD/MPS input through to the USB so that one can record to PC the guitar and the track on the CD/MP3 input. I am being simple here I know, I am using Audacity which sounds really good by I am only getting my guitar recorded. Thank you.

Hi, I looked all through the forum for answer to this question but did not see it addressed. Can someone please help?. I have to play sitting down ( my feet do work ). Anyhow, I have the HD500X on a stand. I have no problem with timing except on the lopper. Obviously, starting and stopping the rec/overdub presents a timing problem if I have to reach off the neck. Is there anyway to assign the lopper to pedal 2 or somewhere else so I can connect a remote footswitch and place the control on the floor while the HD is on the stand? I thank anyone in advance for help on this.
