Hello, I'm a line 6 / Variax newbie I have been given a Variax 500 with a view to purchasing, the guitar has the USB interface, which displays two green lights when all connected via usb interface, however I have downloaded Workbench HD and when this software is activated a window pops up explaining that this software is only compatible with later model guitars. Is there a way of accessing workbench to experiment with the guitar setup, do I need to use certain Line 6 products to enable this, or is this model of variax simply redudunt from a software perspective? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm considerably out of my knowledge depth! Cheers.

Hello, apologies for seeming to waste time here but I am new to all this!, I have bought a variax 500 but the only workbench the Line 6 Monkey can update is the HD version which I am told on start up is not compatible with this model (only James Tyler). I would just like more info as I cannot find the non HD workbench available on the Line 6 website that I can see. Hope you can help!, Many Thanks
