Hi guys, Just to let you know that following applications work flawlessly on macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 - POD HD500X Edit 2.27 - Licence manager, Version 1.14 - Drivers, Version 7.6.8 I haven’t needed any other software yet (I don’t even know if I could use all of it). But I believe these are the essentials which would prevent most of us to update. If you are still scared to upgrade or would like to have any additional sw tested, please let me know - if I can, I will gladly help you out. Addition: I’ve recently done a very extensive troubleshooting on Drivers compatibility for Catalina (Big Sur shouldn’t be that different) so I’m throwing the complete troubleshooting guide in as an attachment.   3. Although the AMPLIFi is still available for purchase, it is no longer being developed, meaning we will not release any new firmware or software for it. The AMPLIFi Remote app is free to download. When installing AMPLIFi Remote, it warns that it was developed for an older version of Android and may not work correctly.

  6. Hello, So I just got a Pod go and I am trying to connect it to my computer and I have a few questions. 1. What is the first patch I should download? 2. I tried to download Edit v 1.10 and I keep getting this error message "the code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. What am I doing wrong and what do I need to do to fix this? 3. What other advice do you have to start off with? Thanks
  7. Hello all, I notice on the software "Pod Go Edit" on (Windows 10) the menu it has an "import set list" option. It uses a file type called .pgs if memory serves me. I contacted Line 6 support asking how to use this function but didn't really see to get an answer that was helpful. Does anyone have experience using this function? There is nothing in the manuals that I could find either. How do I create a .pgs file and what does it do? Thanks in advance y'al

  11. I've searched Google and other places and can't seem to find the place to initially download the software needed to program my Pocket Pod. All places I've looked either don't look like the software or look like possible virus sights. Where should I go to download it?

  14. Hi there! About 5 years ago I purchased the UX2 audio interface along with PodFarm 2.5 with the metal shop pack. It has been a great experience but then I saw that there is a possibility to buy Helix Native. From what I understand, it's pretty much a modern & way more clear sounding PodFarm that's built in the Helix products. I have been thinking to upgrade to Helix Native but I am not sure whether it's going to work well (if at all) on the UX2 given that it's a pretty old device. Helix products cost a lot more than the UX2 and it seems like there should be a catch if I try to use it this way. If it's possible to run Helix Native using a UX properly, how different would it be than to use a Helix rack? I assume that the output quality is different, but other than that, will it affect the recording quality as well? If I record something with Helix Native using a Helix rack and then record the same thing using a UX2 with Helix Native, how different will the final product sound? I would like to know the limitations and differences, if any of you can point them out. Maybe I should just buy a Helix rack or multi-effect instead of a software upgrade alone. Also, is it a stand alone software like PodFarm 2.5 or is it just an addition to the DAW? Thanks a lot! PS: I know that I can demo it for free for 2 weeks before buying but I also didn't want to start the demo only to find out that it doesn't work at all on the UX2.
  15. The folder “Line6” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents. 1. Mac OSX 2. I got the Spider V Remote to download and install (after adjusting security settings) 3. Install created a file called "Line6" but I don't see the Remote app anywhere 4. When I click on the Line6 folder I get the message "The folder “Line6” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents." Any help would be appreciated!
  16. I've had this LIne 6 Spider Valve mkii HD100 for about 8 years and I love it. However, I've recently gotten back into playing again and I've been looking for the software to be able to edit the presets in the FBV shortboard mkii I'm using in conjunction with the Spider Valve. I'm having an issue finding the software on the line 6 website to be able to edit these presets from my laptop. I'm not sure if it simply doesn't exist any longer or if I am mistaken and simply can't seem to locate it. I currently have the monkey 3 installer and it looks like everything is up to date, other than the controller. However, when I attempt to update it, it prompts me to the Line 6 website base and tells me there is no software for this device. Any and all info would be useful. Thanks!

  18. Thank you for purchasing a Spider V/Spider V MK II amp. To get the best performance from your new amp, please upload the latest firmware. You can upload in one of two ways connected to a mobile device or connected to a computer. We strongly suggest updating the amp from a desktop/laptop computer, even though it is possible to do so from a mobile device. It will take about 5 minutes to complete the upgrade. Please follow the instructions below. Updating firmware from a Mac or PC: First, download and install the Spider V drivers: Go to Line6.com and click on "Support" Select "Downloads" and set the three pulldown windows under "Free Software Downloads" to: [Spider V 60], [Line 6 Drivers], [your PC OS] Click "GO" The page will update with the Line 6 drivers for the Spider V. Click 'GET DOWNLOAD' to download the driver installer to your computer. Log in to your free Line 6 User account (or create a new account) Click on 'ACCEPT AND DOWNLOAD' and follow the instructions to save the driver installer When the installer has been downloaded, double-click on it and follow the instructions to install it in your computer. Next, download and install the Line 6 Updater for Spider V: Go to Line6.com and click on "Support" Select "Downloads" and set the three pulldown windows under"Free Software Downloads" to: [spider V 30], [Line 6 Updater], [your Mac or PC OS] Click "GO" The page will update with the Line 6 Updater for the Spider V.   20. Problem: After upgrading to macOS Catalina, some mac users found that some apps can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. A dialog box pops up, click "OK" button and the application will close. Solution: Make sure you have dragged the installer package to /Applications to complete the installation. Our users have found that dragging the package into the Applications folder works best. This package appears after the installer .dmg file is opened. Problem: If you try to open the installer you downloaded, and you are blocked by the Mac System. You may need to disable the Gatekeeper within your system preferences. You may see a prompt like this: Solution: 1. Go to “System Preferences” then “Security & Privacy”. Under the General tab, you will see a message at the bottom, “Application HX Edit was blocked from opening because it is not from an identified developer.” 2. Click on “Open anyway” and the application will be opened.
  21. Like its predecessors, Windows 10 has a compatibility mode to allow users to run older programs written back when previous versions of Windows were the newest operating system. Right click on the app. Select "Properties". Click the Compatibility tab. Under the banner, a check box will appear next to the text "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" with the options in a drop down menu. The various Windows operating systems will appear, depending on the app. A more involved option is to install a virtual version of the old operating system of your choice ("virtual machine" or "VM") on your computer. This is different than dual-booting a computer, where the user divides/partitions the space on a single hard drive and installs a different operating system on each section, allowing the user to choose which OS is booted when the computer is powered on. The advantage with VM is the ability to run a program in the operating system that it was designed for in the first place. Windows 10 is compatible with Microsoft Virtual PC, a virtualization software that allows Windows users to run multiple versions of Windows, all the way back to Windows XP. This is a free download from the Microsoft Download Center. Microsoft provided a free copy of Windows XP to run in Windows 7 Pro. Pro versions of Windows 8.1 include Hyper-V to host alternative operating systems. Otherwise, Oracle's (formerly Sun's) VirtualBox and VMWare are some of the more common options available and are accessible for Windows, Mac and Linux users. Mac users can also use Boot Camp and Parallels to access alternate OS versions.
  22. I have a Helix bought a couple of years ago and I want to update it. Is there anyone who can cut through the pages of info and tell me how to, back up my old patches (I can't see how to install an old version of HX edit to do this) then down load the new firmware and software to get the Helix up to date.   23. This document explains how to update your FBV Mk II (Express or Shortboard) controller using Line 6 Monkey. You will need to connect your FBV Mk II controller using a USB cable to your computer, then run the Line 6 Monkey application. If your software is out of date (or you want to reflash for trouble shooting purposes), you will want to update using the following directions. Line 6 Monkey Installation and F.A.Q. USB Connectivity with Line 6 Devices 1) If Monkey asks you to register your gear, you can select 'remind me later'. 2) Select the "flash memory" to highlight (in blue), then select "update selection". 3) Select "I Accept" for the software agreement and select 'continue'. 4) Decide if you want to restore the factory defaults, then select your choice (if you are reloading software for trouble shooting, select "yes"). 5) Select "yes" to continue to the update. 6) wait for the flash memory to update and be installed, then select "OK". 7)Your unit should now be successfully updated.
  24. Hi, I bought Helix lt in April 2018, since then I was very satisfied with this unit. Since almost 2 months, the Helix onboard expression pedal is behaving very random, being this the second or third time it happens to me: The expression pedal stops working for no reason. The switch toggle from exp 1/exp 2 works fine, I've tried switching presets, snapshots, switching from exp 1/2 , deleting Volume block and adding it again, new preset with volume block, etc. Im thinking also in a factory reset, cause this is very annoying. The worst part is that it happens while gigging, from one part of a song to another, the pedal stops working. I don't want to lose confidence on this unit but it's giving me a hard time. If I'm using it for swelling, well , it is a FAIL if the unit's expression pedal behaves randomly. I have external expression pedals, but using one doesn't fix my issue. The first time it happened to me, it lasted like 1 hour or so, this time I don't know. I just switched it off cause I was tired . I started to look on google hoping to know what was happening, but I think it only happens to me, since there's no other cases like mine in forums, at least. While digging I found out this thing has an optical sensor, but nothing else. Maybe that's the trouble, the damn sensor. Can you help me with this? Thanks
  25. I recently bought a used POD HD300 and I use the POD HD300 Edit software on OSX High Sierra with no problem. There is however an OSX update to Mojave and I do not know if I updated the OS would the POD HD300 Edit still work. Mojave is not mentioned in the supported OS list of the latest 2.03 (10/14/14) version of the Edit software. Is there anyone who has OSX Mojave with a usable POD HD300 Edit out there?
