  1. Hello, bought a brand new HX Stomp. It won't connect to my pc (Windows 7 x64). Problems found: - USB Audio Device has a driver problem. - HX Stomp doesn't have a driver. Are the driver available for download somewhere? None of the software provided, in the Downloads section of Line6's webpage, are able to "see" my HX Stomp.

Hi, all, Of course, I seem to have the one problem that I cannot find on Google, YouTube, etc, so her I am.. i have just just updated My Helix Native to the latest iteration and I have also purchased IR’s from Line 6 and Dl’ed the free Allure pack, as well. the problem is I can’t seem to be able to use them. They don’t drag and drop as it shows in videos, also when I drag and I are to where I want ita white no go sign appears that seems to be telling me “No Dice, Baby.” can anyone share a solution with me?   5. Hi Sorry if my english is not very good, I'm Indonesian I have a problem with line6 POD Studio GX The output from the line out/headphones is mono, i can't make it stereo. Pan pot doesnt change the output sound panning. Here are some things that i've done to fix the problem (but not work) Reinstall the software Change the headphone/line out jack till 6 times Updating to the latest driver/software/monkey etc Installing it on different computer Installing on different OS (Windows XP/Windows 7) Setting the line6 audio/midi setting None of the above is work. Usually i can fix some problem like this, I've been using many line6 product since 2003, and i'm working as line6 endorser for PT. Citra Intirama in Indonesia since 2005. So usually i can fix small problem like this. But this one is different, i thing i got a defective unit. Please help. Maybe i miss something. Thanks
  6. I bought a refurbished Firehawk FX that always boots into a weird menu. I'm not able to exit the menu, nor I can perform the factory reset. I've tried updating the device to different version multiple times on two computers but the problem persists. I'm aware that this menu is propably the so called update menu I've heard some people talk about which is supposed to be opened by pressing A+C buttons when powering up, but I haven't seen any pictures of it anywhere so I can only guess. So I took a video: Should I assume my Firehawk is broken? I can still return the device. EDIT: Each time I've performed an update, the updater has indicated that the updates succeeded.
  7. I have a 2018 Macbook Pro and up until about 2 weeks ago, the DAW I use and HX edit doesn't recognize my HX Stomp. Is this likely because of a problem with Catalina? If so, when will it be fixed? Anyone else experiencing this problem?
  8. I am a relatively new user to the Helix and I'm having an issue with latency when I'm switching between snapshots in a given bank. When I purchased the unit it had firmware 2.3 installed and I updated to the latest firmware version and everything went smoothly. I cannot say for sure but I felt like I wasn't getting a latency issue when switching between snapshots before the update and if I understand correctly I shouldn't be having that issue. Like I said, I'm not sure if the latency was existing before the update but it is definitely present now and it will make my music unplayable due to dynamics and what not. If anyone can give me some insight here that would be super appreciated, thank you.
  9. Having a problem with a DL4 that I recently purchased. I've attached a recording to this post (the recording is clipping a tiny bit, apologies for that). Basically when I switch any delay on, the guitar signal gets cut very briefly and then comes back with delay, instead of just carrying on with added delay. You can hear it happening 3 times on the recording I've attached, every time I release the switch to trigger the delay. Has that ever happened to any of you ? Any thoughts ?   10. I have a problem with the POD HD 500X. I'm normally playing at home then I want to change from the EXP1 to EXP2 to use the Wah effect, but the POD shuts down and it begins to restart over and over again without starting. Waht could it possibly be? FX overuse? Wrong calibration?
  11. Hello, I've been using the HX Stomp as a travel rig. I like it a lot, only problem is the expression pedal doesn't seem to calibrate properly. I've searched the internet up and down to no avail. How do I calibrate my Dunlop expression pedal to work as 0 being heel, and toe being 100? Currently, regardless of my min/max setting, the HX believes the halfway point is 100 and goes back down to zero. I'm not using a TRS cable to connect the expression pedal. Thank you
  12. I was playing with my spider iv 75 and suddenly it stopped and the panel went crazy as you can see in the picture. I can't change anything. Any solution for that? thanks
  13. I have a JTV-69 (Korean) paired with an HD500x and the acoustic models are giving me a major issue w/ the sound when hitting certain frets. Typically the string/fret that make this noise is A-7&8th fret and also D-4th fret. The sound is almost like a feedback and horrible resonance sound where the sound is much louder than the other frets. Anyone else notice this issue with the acoustic models.
  14. Hi! Just got my Line 6 UX2 (with black front). In box there was Podfarm 2.5 CD included but i downloaded from internet. Installed everything needed: License manager, Line 6 Monkey and Farmpod 2.59. For some reason farmpod is not authorizing even tho my computer and UX2 are authorized under license manager. (images attached). Also i can't load or save tunes, what the f am i missing here ?? I'm running windows 10. Thanks in advance.

Hi, i have a problem with my pod hd500x: when i plugin my pedalboard to the pc for edit the tones and exit in my amplifier, the tones sounds really good, but when i don't plug to the pc the pod all of my tones have a really lollipop sound, with a lot of interference and really high tones that make the tones noisy. I tried all the way a can to solve this problem, but i haven't found a solution. this is a really sad thing beacuse i have my pod for 8 moths and i can't use it live because i can't bring with me my pc. I hope someone can healp me solving that problem.
  16. Hi, I bought Helix lt in April 2018, since then I was very satisfied with this unit. Since almost 2 months, the Helix onboard expression pedal is behaving very random, being this the second or third time it happens to me: The expression pedal stops working for no reason. The switch toggle from exp 1/exp 2 works fine, I've tried switching presets, snapshots, switching from exp 1/2 , deleting Volume block and adding it again, new preset with volume block, etc. Im thinking also in a factory reset, cause this is very annoying. The worst part is that it happens while gigging, from one part of a song to another, the pedal stops working. I don't want to lose confidence on this unit but it's giving me a hard time. If I'm using it for swelling, well , it is a FAIL if the unit's expression pedal behaves randomly. I have external expression pedals, but using one doesn't fix my issue. The first time it happened to me, it lasted like 1 hour or so, this time I don't know. I just switched it off cause I was tired . I started to look on google hoping to know what was happening, but I think it only happens to me, since there's no other cases like mine in forums, at least. While digging I found out this thing has an optical sensor, but nothing else. Maybe that's the trouble, the damn sensor. Can you help me with this? Thanks
  17. I recently bought a Pocket Pod (yesterday, in fact), and since then I've only got it working when it's connected to the PC via the USB cable. It works perfectly in that case, but as soon as I remove the cable, it stops working. I've tested it with batteries only or with a power supply, and none of it works. The only case when the Pocket Pod functions normally is when it has either batteries or cable plugged in, and it's connected to the PC. I've read that the device needs a mono cable to activate, but I've been using a stereo one and there's no problem. Maybe the cable works when the USB is plugged in, but it doesn't work as a switch for when it is not. Should I try a mono cable or is there another problem? Thanks in advance
  18. Hi All, lately I am having quite a lot of trouble with my Pod XT Live floor effects. When I call up a patch while playing, it will sound OK for the first few seconds and then lose some volume and sound really dull. Also when I have selected a patch the screen on the pod will change between the name of the patch and the dialling buttons (like when you edit the patch) I hope this makes sense. It will keep on doing this constantly. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? Because for the moment I am thinking of throwing the whole unit out and getting a different one as I am gigging 2 / 3 times a week I have to be able to trust on my gear. Any help is welcome.   19. Hello, I have a couple of problems with a brand new hx stomp. 2.71 firmware with an active/passive bass. I have two problems : 1. Headphone output is generally too low, even with the volume at max. I'm using 32ohm phone, there is optimization for another impedance? 2. The bass sound is distorted even if I have an empty chain or analog bypass!! There is a lot of distortion in mid and low frequencies content even with passive or active basses (connected to the main L input). Can you help me? Best regards, Bye

    Greetings! Happy new year! My sweet Hd500x has several problems: The 4th rotator (under the LCD screen), the tap, up and down and and the fs5 footswitches are almost dead. I live in Greece and Line6 lists only a shop 600km far.. 1. Any good diy guides to repair.. or 2. e-shop in Europe to find Heavy duty replacement buttons and knobs or maybe the footswitch pcb 3. Should I try using compressed air or liquid cleaner, above or below the surface? 3. any other suggestions would be welcome
  22. Does anyone else have the issue of glitchy unreliable footswitches on the Helix? I've had two units The first had 4 unreliable foot switches after a month of use at home.. And after 6 months or so the joystick failed totally so the store got me a new unit. That one now has 2 unreliable footswitches... problably more to come. I'm really taking good care of the unit, so I'm left to think there is a general quality issue with these footswitches. However Line6 Support tells me otherwise: Hi there, sorry for the trouble with your Helix. The defective switch needs to be replaced by our service center. Nonetheless I will pass along this information to the product teams, so they can look into it.   23. My M5 has been acting a bit strange lately. I have an expression pedal connected to it, but sometimes the M5 doesn't register the full sweep. A good example would be the Whammy preset: I configured the expression pedal to go from 0.0 to +12.0. However, sometimes when I put it toe down, it goes to +11.8 or something. I'm able to fix the issue by disconnecting the power and restarting the M5 a couple of times, after which it stays stable and always registers the full sweep, until I power it up again the next time. Anyone had a similar experience? How did you fix it? It's rather annoying I sometimes have to connect and disconnect the power for up to ten times before it works correctly. Thanks in advance, Wout
  24. Hi, I have a problem with my Pod HD. While trying to connect it to my computer, I accidentaly touched the footswitch's cable slot with my USB cable and after that my POD's screen started to glitch, working only half of it and went to an infinite loop so wont reboot properly. It just keeps loading and rebooting. If i leave it a while, the screens starts working but stays at the Line6 logo going on and off. I've already tried turning it on while pressing the left nav but nothing happens. If I put on the flash update mode (down nav) it will glitch at first but then it will appear "Update flash" on the screen, but my computer wont cognize it anyway. NOTE: While uploading the video, the screeen stopped glitching, but the unit won start, it just keeps loading. Help...

That happens sometimes using different IEC cables. https://youtu.be/Fy6RwlY-xHk This problem started when i changed my IEC cable too. Sorry for the sound quality, there is a clicking sound when i activate the reverb. I though the it could be caused by the cable, but they are universal and i guess that it could be produced by digital issues. I really like this amp but it's difficult to play a gig calmed with that kind of problems. Is anyone having these problems? Sorry for my english.
