  2. Hi, I have an issue with my LT. I'm using is as interface on Windows 10. The problem I have is that sound is freezing for 1-2 seconds from time to time. It affects only the sound coming from PC (both audio playback or recording in Cubase). E.g. when I jam to backing track, music stops for 2 sec, but I can hear my guitar without interruption. It happened on 2.82, I have 2.91 and still it is an issue. Any ideas how to deal with it?
  3. Does anyone else have the issue of glitchy unreliable footswitches on the Helix? I've had two units The first had 4 unreliable foot switches after a month of use at home.. And after 6 months or so the joystick failed totally so the store got me a new unit. That one now has 2 unreliable footswitches... problably more to come. I'm really taking good care of the unit, so I'm left to think there is a general quality issue with these footswitches. However Line6 Support tells me otherwise: Hi there, sorry for the trouble with your Helix. The defective switch needs to be replaced by our service center. Therefore please contact your Line 6 reseller from where you've purchased the unit - or alternatively you have the option to contact our Danish service center directly: Highend Skjulhöjalle 57 Vanløse, 2720 +4538711114 info@highendmusik.dk We haven't received many requests regarding footswitch failures and the repair should solve the issue. Nonetheless I will pass along this information to the product teams, so they can look into it. Best regards xxxxx Technical Support Line 6 Support Europe And I don't really want to pay for repairs of a lollipop quality component, in an otherwise nice product.. Am I really one of few having this issue?

Hi, I am using the UX1 to plug my guitar in to my Mac (I'm on Catalina) to record using logic pro x. It lets me play/record for about 30 seconds and then basically just feeds back one never ending sounding horrible note (no its not my playing, classic lols). I have recently updated my line 6 software & mac, changed cables. All the usual things I can think of but nothing works. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it. Many thanks! Rich
  5. Hello, bought a brand new HX Stomp. It won't connect to my pc (Windows 7 x64). Problems found: - USB Audio Device has a driver problem. - HX Stomp doesn't have a driver. Are the driver available for download somewhere? None of the software provided, in the Downloads section of Line6's webpage, are able to "see" my HX Stomp.
  6. Hello, This unit has always worked without any issue, but all of a sudden I connected it as usual and it didn't turn on. At the beginning I thought it was completely broken but because I was still hearing that click after turn it on, I tried connecting the USB to the computer and realized that it was working there as usual, and the effects too when connected to the amp. I've tried resetting and reinstalling the firmware but it's still the same. Have anyone experienced the same issue or something similar?
  7. My Line 6 HD500X is not starting after I switch on the power. Line 6 Logo appears, stays for some seconds, the logo change to a big blue block and then fades away. Line 6 Logo appears again. This keeps happening in a loop. This happened while I was downloading tones from my laptop. How can I reset the HD500x?
  8. I am a relatively new user to the Helix and I'm having an issue with latency when I'm switching between snapshots in a given bank. When I purchased the unit it had firmware 2.3 installed and I updated to the latest firmware version and everything went smoothly. I cannot say for sure but I felt like I wasn't getting a latency issue when switching between snapshots before the update and if I understand correctly I shouldn't be having that issue. Like I said, I'm not sure if the latency was existing before the update but it is definitely present now and it will make my music unplayable due to dynamics and what not. If anyone can give me some insight here that would be super appreciated, thank you.
  9. Hi everyone, First time poster. I have read through the topics here on the forum but it seems like the topic has not been covered. Been using the helix floor for a year now. Great piece of gear! It is in my understanding that using snapshot is the way to go to change parameters with a patch without the ''sound gap'' you would get by switching presets. So I've been using snapshots for in-song changes, and presets for song-to-song (which seems to be common). Until now everything worked fine. I updated to 2.82 lately. I have a couple of presets based on the same ''rig''; the only thing that tends to stay the same would be the amp settings. Effects and snapshot changes. Last week I started to experience a ''sound gap'' (like the one you get when you change presets). Strangely, it seems to be related to when 2 presets are the same, within the setlist. I tried to build the preset from scratch instead of copying it, but as soon as I match the amp settings, I get that problem when I go through the snapshots. I don't know if someone encountered a similar problem, or even if I did explained it well, but if anymore encountered a similar issue, or have a fix... Thanks in advance for your help. English is not my primary language but I'll try to give more details if some of you have question Thank you, Cédric
  10. Hello All - Writing to get some expertise on an issue I'm having with the 6 button looper on the Helix (LT if it matters)... The issue is simple, and I hope there's a simple answer but I can't for the life of me figure out what happened. When engaging the six button looper that has been assigned to one of the stomp switches the looper interface used to come onto the screen and show me which foot switches were assigned to effects/rec/stop ect. But this is no longer the case... NOW when I hit the looper the foot switches will light up - like they should, showing the looper is armed, and it does work - but the screen remains on the signal chain view, and I get confused... What did I do? How do I get the looper interface to come back onto the screen!?
  11. Hi, I just bought an HX Stomp. Downloaded my first IR and was trying them out. Just for fun, I cleared them to try new ones and now I'm having problem transferring IR to my unit, even the same IR i was already using. My HX Stomp stays "blocked" saying Transferring Data... and my soft is also blocked. I tried changing USB Ports, not using a hub, any possible combination and it's driving me crazy. I even reset everything and still doesn't work. Could it be a faulty unit? Thanks in advance for your help

  14. Hello evereyone, I was just confrontaded with a really weird issue with the DT25 Unit. Everytime i left my amp on the rehearsal room for as long as a week disconected from the power due to fire prevention, i found the amp with a really bad issue whem i try to start it again: all the lights from the switches turns on buts no sound comes out of the amp, just a quite noise. On the first time i reeinstalled without trouble the flash-unit and it helped. The second time the amp wasn´t recognized trought the Midi interface. Curiosly it started on his own after beeing setted on standby about an hour along without doing nothing with it. I noticed this because it did a typical clipping sound and after that just a few lights were on and it was ready to be played. It is well known not to let the power on inside rehearsal rooms when you left it. So my question is why is this happening in the first place. Is there a hidden battery which needs to be loaded on regular periods of times, and it is possible to replace this battery? Thanks up front for any hints and answers!
  15. Hello everyone! I'm having issues getting Helix Native to pan in order to run a different signal path to the right and left. I would like to take one mono clip and, in one instance of Helix Native, split it left and right. When I pan Helix Native's "Host Output" hard right, it will always be silent on playback, when I pan it hard left, it gets slightly quieter but will still play at an equal volume on both speakers. I can have the track panned hard left, hard right or center in Logic Pro's track editor, and these results are always the same when I make the changes within Helix Native's "Host Output": Silent when hard panned right, loudest at center, slightly quieter at hard left. Here are some pictures of my signal chain and host output that I'm referring to, could I be overlooking anything?
  16. So I just bought a Pod HD500X and it has this problem that many people seem to be having with it. Often, it will reboot itself randomly over and over again until I unplug it or, occasionally, until I stop playing. I am using the provided power supply and not only have I tried other 500x power supplies but I went to guitar center and bought a new one and it's doing the same thing. Basically I haven't seen this problem resolved so I'm posting this hoping to figure out a solution for everybody who's struggling with these faulty Pods. Notes: I've rebooted myself, holding down the left arrow while plugging in power, to no avail. I've tried updating using Line 6 monkey, but it doesn't show up in the list of devices.
  17. I am on windows 10 and it seems every time I try to record something it ends up being choppy and very deep. I've tried everything with fixing this issue. These are my sample rate settings
  18. Hi all, hope you're well. I'm hoping someone will be able to help me please. I'm having difficulties setting up a NT1-A condenser mic through a UX1. I've read through several old posts on this forum but can't seem to find the answer I need. The issue is the volume level from the mic; it's barely audible. The NT1-A is plugged in to the input channel of a Neewer 48V phantom power supply (power into mains), with the output going into the mic input of the UX1. The UX1 is plugged in via USB with the output settings set to 'built-in output' via Garageband on a MacBook Pro, coming through to my headphones. I've cranked the mic gain on the UX1 up to max, pushed the track volume up to max in Garageband and 'Mic 1' input is selected on the mixer in Podfarm. I can mostly hear a quiet, soft hissing noise (presumably the high gain setting) but when I go to record I can hear my voice quietly underneath, so seemingly the mic is on and registering. I've tried clicking the +18db boost on the input channels in the mixer in pod farm, which increase the volume of the hissing and makes things a little louder but something's clearly wrong. I've been recording guitar using Podfarm without trouble, so presumably I'm missing something as I believe other people have managed to get condensers with phantom power working fine? I'd appreciate any suggestions as to how I can fix this,, thank you!
  19. Hello, Just wanted to communicate this issue to anyone else who may experience it. I started to feel slight electric shocks through my guitar strings and on the metal stomp buttons on my Pod HD500X. After doing some troubleshooting, I found that it was the USB port on my computer that somehow got bent and was causing the electric shock. When I switched the USB cable to another port on my computer, the shock went away completely. Before you take it in to get repaired, give this a shot and see if it works. EDIT: I have also been told by a guitar tech that incorrect grounding in your guitar can cause this problem. Try using another guitar with your pod to see if you experience the shock. If you do not, it is probably the guitar
  20. Hi, I recently bought an Amplifi FX100 (software version: 2.60.3) and I have problems with an annoying lag (delay) when I change my presets by A-D buttons while playing. It's really frustrating because the delay is noticeable on live gigs. Are there any solutions to this problem? Do you know if new device updates will be available? Thank you.
  21. Hello everyone I don't know if this should belong to the bug thread, if that's the case I apologize... I am facing an issue with the Vintage Digital Delay block and I was wondering if someone else has came across the same thing... I did a quick research but I haven't found anything about the matter. Basically, when I switch to a preset that has this block already engaged, I hear a horrible pitch bend that lasts a second... It's like the modulation depth parameter glitches for a moment. This annoying warble is noticeable even without playing. The issue does not present itself when using snapshots within the same preset. Has anyone found a workaround for this issue? I know I can just use snapshots to avoid it, but I have a few situations in which I need to use different presets and this is making it impossible...
  22. So I just got myself a Helix rack and I downloaded the HX Edit software to start messing without having to put my entire rack on the table. But when I open the HX Edit it only lets me access the Preset and Impulse Response, none of the actual preset stuff as you can see in the picture. Am I missing something? Every time I look up the app online I see people using the app with preset editing section. I've looked all over the Line 6 website and google and I can't find anything on this. Help?
  23. Hi. I found some issues in my Line 6 Spider 240HC amp that probably have other discussions opened, but i decided to record them. https://youtu.be/67unAeUulCA In the first one, the display flashes when it's turned off. https://youtu.be/477VH-TT4W8 That sound happens when i turn off the amp. That happens sometimes using different IEC cables. https://youtu.be/Fy6RwlY-xHk This problem started when i changed my IEC cable too. Sorry for the sound quality, there is a clicking sound when i activate the reverb. I though the it could be caused by the cable, but they are universal and i guess that it could be produced by digital issues. I really like this amp but it's difficult to play a gig calmed with that kind of problems. Is anyone having these problems? Sorry for my english.
  24. There seems to be an issue with the Firehawk Remote App for iOS (iPhones). I am part of a Facebook group that is trying to share tones using the link that the Firehawk Remote App provides. We can all share tones via link, but it seems only Android devices can actually load the tone. The problem is that iOS devices seem to have an issue loading and go to the 1A preset. Can we have some Line6 assistance here? Thanks!
  25. Hello everyone, I have an issue with setting my delay on specific tap tempo on Pod HD500x. Please, watch the video. First, I set up my preset '05A' with a Delay: 8th (3) - 'Digital Dly w/Mod'. I used a metronome - you can hear 3rds very well. Then I change to any preset (picked '06A') and then back again to '05A'. But the delay doesn't sound like 3rds, even though delay's settings are set to 3rds. I can actually hear 5ths... After choosing a different tempo sync and putting it back to 3rds, it is working again. This doesn`t happen just to 8th (3) tempo sync, it could be any type of delay - you would be still hearing 5ths. I don't know if it's a problem with tap tempo or bug in the system, since there are no 5ths available for delays. My Pod just doesn't save the type of delay, after switching the preset. System: - Flash FW: v2.62 - USB FW: v1.04 Maybe I am failing somewhere and and I just don't see it. I will be thankful for any advice! PS: the watermark is cool
