Hi. I think that's pretty straightforward 4cm wiring. I use it with the AMP EMULATOR - Atomic Amps Firebox - but you can use any amp modelling unit - Tonex, Strymon Iridium etc.
This is a signal chain: (lets enumerate HX ONE top side connection sockets left to right 1-2-3-4)
Guitar --> Drive -> HX ONE 4 , HX ONE 3 -> OUT of the amp modeller, HX ONE 2 -> IN of the any effects you want to keep AFTER the amp, like Delay, Reverb etc., HX ONE 1 -> IN of the amp modeler. And final signal is coming from OUT of those Delay/Reverb which come last.
Set HX ONE to INSERT mode and play with PRE/POST setting for each preset you use on HX ONE: basically it moves HX ONE before the amp modeler (for filters, drives, compressors, synths etc.) or after amp modeler (for delays, reverbs etc.)
So in your case - you don't use amp modeler and have Strymon Deco/Flint instead. Your signal path will look like this:
Guitar ->Drive -> HX ONE 4, HX ONE 3 -> OUT of Flint or Deco (the last one), HX ONE 2 -> input of the amp, HX ONE 1 -> IN of Flint or Deco (the first one)
Tell me if it help.
