  1. I’ve been gigging with Helix LT for several years just fine (XLR left output direct into mixer). At band practice last night volume decreased and then came back, and it started clicking/popping. Then it stopped working. No sound. Then bottom row of buttons made some noise, and top row worked ok, then stopped again. Same when changing banks. Tried power off – nope, change guitar cable – nope. Then it began working like normal, but had a few seconds randomly dropping out. Seems to be working fine now, but I am skeptical. Any ideas what the problem is? Thanks, Joel
  2. HI, I thought I read about this issue before in this forum but I can't seem to find the topic below. I have an M20 (+ L2m, L3m and L3s) and specific inputs are currently dropping out. In my practice room pysical mic inputs 7&8 (which take electronic drums stereo) will drop out after about 5-10min. There is not drop in output from the drum module but there is no input level coming in. Examining further I can see the channel strip inputs for 1,2,7,8 all greyed out like there in no connector in them... when there physically is. If I plug into another pair of channels, they work fine. If I cycle power on teh unit the channels come back... for a while. WTF is going on with this thing? did this sort of thing happen before or was it my imagination? Why that block of channels? After the dramas with my L2ms (which I have only just had returned from the fan replacement - and haven't tested properly yet) I am afraid to take this out in public until my faith in the reliability is restored. 3. I just purchased the G10. First gig. No issues. Day 2 2nd set...Had reciever seated. Full green light. Played for 2 songs and all of a sudden drop outs every few minutes. Had to plug in after the song for the rest of the gig. Hoping it was a freak thing but after reading all the people with drop out issues, I may need to send this back. I will give it another shot for the 2 gigs coming up this weekend. Any recommendations?
  4. Thank you in advance for reading this and any relief you can send my way. My HD 500x is dropping out, especially with more overdriven sounds when I use my Fender Strat (which has passive pickups). It will generally start off great and then quickly drop drastically in volume and sound like I am playing under water. I do not generally have this issue when playing my acoustic through it. Sean

    USB and Helix LT

Hi there. I have been having usb drop out issues with my helix LT since I purchased it Oct 31. For the first few days it was unusable because it failed during a fw update (2.12 > 2.21). I had tried the usual leads, no hubs, front and back sockets and other computers but had little luck. I finally got it to upload the 2.21 fw by sheer persistence. Since then I have had limited success connecting it to my Windows 10 PC. I even reformatted and reinstalled windows :) after that I have been able to transfer small batches (6 patches or IR's) to the unit from my pc. Any more and I run the risk of drop out, resulting with shutting down the LT and exiting the editor and restarting. But to bring this post up to present - I managed to upgrade it successfully to 2.30 but the USB issues remain and that back up file is just too big and drops out every time. Also the pinned post at the top of this thread ( For those of you who might need a little help with the 2.30 update: ) shows a USB transfer speed MUCH faster than mine. I have the latest drivers and no hardware conflicts. What gives? I have an open ticket but the only apparent option is return for servicing. The Helix LT itself is brilliant! Sounds amazing and even though I have had these issues the unit is so much fun I have stuck with it - but I would love to be able to use it as intended. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
  6. My G30 wireless is continually having about 1 second quick drop outs, on all 6 channels. It happens both at home and at gigs, every few minutes at least. I've had enough, and would like to get a new unit from line 6 or my money back - how do i go about using the warranty? It's been less than a year, have the receipt, etc. Anyone else exchanged theirs? Any luck?
