  1. I'm on my 3rd Pod Go Wireless in as many weeks (no, really - 3 in 3 weeks). The first one had issues with the wireless connection - I could be directly in front of the main unit and it would lose connection (I could see the signal go from 3 bars to disappearing completely as I sat there not moving) and would cause severely choppy audio. The 2nd (replacement) was clearly a customer return - it had already been opened and failed to even boot up (thanks Guitar Center). The 3rd (re-re-replacement) has the exact same issues as the first. Can anyone help? I've updated the firmware to 1.30. I literally have to be sitting next to it and facing slightly to the side and even then it is pretty unreliable. I have the Yamaha THR amp which uses the same G10TII wireless relays and have no issues whatsoever with it - even if I leave the room and go down the stairs! At this point I regret paying the extra for wireless support when it seems pretty broken in this device. Can anyone help? I already raised a support ticket with Line 6 (for the first one) and they just told me to return it ... which I did, and that hasn't helped.
  2. Is it possible to run my guitar through a distortion pedal, through the KB37? I know the KB37 has a line in, but I don’t want to ruin it. Any help is appreciated
  3. I have updated to 2.00,(both amp and app) and still face issues with the app connecting to the amp. I find that more and more I have to turn off the amp, turn off bluetooth on my iPhone, turn on bluetooth, turn on amp, and maybe it will connect (the bluetooth always connects, its the app that has issues). I have deleted, reinstalled the Amplifi app a few times now, and while it works for awhile, it seems crazy to do this on a consistent basis. What else can be wrong with this app? Ive had alot of Line 6 products and this is by far my most disappointing experience I have had with their product. Are their any updates (future)coming to address this issue?

  6. Is there a way to set up / connect connect two powered monitor speakers (stereo & time based effects) and an amp ( std effects) to the HD500X? I've seen this done, Youtube, with the Helix but would like to set up my HD500X. Thanks
  7. Now that Line 6 is in new ownership, when can we expect ANY form of update in regards to the future of the line? Is there even a team, a person, that has responsibility for it's content? I've had mine 4 years and it feels as if they never cared for the amplifi ecosystem once it went out to stores. Please give me a reason to continue to support Line 6 products.
  8. Hello good people! I was considering getting the hd500x because it fits perfectly on my budget, but i couldn't find anywhere an answer to this question: Can you connect your pod to foh (with cab emulation) and to a poweramp and cab (without cab emulation) simultaneously? if not, that would be a deal breaker :/ I've downloaded the edit software and discovered that using a dual amp setup i could turn off the simulation on one, so theoretically if i pan them hard to the sides i could do what i want? Thanks in advance!
  9. Hi all, I've had my Amplifi 75 for about a year now and have never really gotten to use it to it's full potential because of the constantly failing bluetooth connection. I previously had an iPhone 6, and it was hit or miss whether or not the amp would connect and show up in the Line 6 app, but now that I've switched to android it won't work at all. I've updated both the firmware on the Amp, and the application on my Galaxy s6, yet no dice. My phone will connect to the amp, and the app will work for about 30 seconds at which point the app starts spazzing out and the bluetooth light on the Amp starts blinking and the connection is dropped. I have tried unpairing and repairing but nothing will work. Occasionally I get the amp to stay paired long enough to play music through it as a bluetooth speaker, but it still never shows up in the Line 6 amp, making it effectively useless as an amp. If anyone has any solutions or ideas as to how I could remedy this issue I would seriously appreciate it! When I did have it working I loved the sounds I was able to create with this amp and really want to get that back. Thanks in advance for your help!
  10. Hello everyone I recently bought an fbv shortboard for my pod hd pro. Unfortunately, when plugging the shortboard in to my pod, it simply isn't being detected at all. No lights, no functions. I then hooked it up to my computer via USB were it was detected. I updated all drivers and flash via line 6 monkey. I couldnt find any help on the internet on how to get the fbv to work with the pod! This is really really disappointing. However, I then plugged the shortboard into to VARIAX input of my pod (I know this is not were it goes, but i needed to find out, whether the cable worked at all) and the shortboard was detected, but i simply couldnt do anything with it. Would someone please tell me, what I am doing wrong? P.S. I tried calibrating the pedal and that wont work (via USB to computer) either.
  11. Hi. I am new to Mobile POD and only got real experiences from Apps like JamUp, ToneStack, AmpKit. So far I use a App called iFile Organizer to play along over audio-tracks from my bandmates. iFile Organizer offers the ability to loop parts of a song and lets you decide the tempo up- and downwards. As the Mobile POD App offers similar features I thought about using these when jamming, but there is a big disadvantage, which seems to be the "import possibilities". Regardless to what other App I refer, all those others can be feed by using the "open in...", "Import to...", "send to..." feature of the cloud-services like iCloud, Drive and Dropbox where Mobile POD only seems to support the iTunes library as a source for imports into it's setlist. But this library itself can only be feed by purchasing tracks or syncing the music in your iTunes-Desktop library. Does anyone have a solution for this? How do you import playalong tracks into a music-setlist of Mobile POD?
  12. Hi All Losing my mind here..Helix and Workbench HD, Variax JTV 69 cant get them talking... -2.21 Helix installed. Line 6 Monkey will see JTV-69 (1.74) and flashed it with 2.22 Flash memory. I run Workbench HD 2.13 and I get an error, 'The connected Variax is not compatible with Workbench HD. You must use a James Tylers Variax version 2.0 or higher.' If I disabled MIDI in Helix (Global-MIDI-MIDI to USB on) I only get a blank scan dialog and no Variax is seen. I went nuts trying to get this working and even installed the old Variax Workbench connected VDI to my HD 500 and it was seen as expected. I am using the VDI barel plug ethernet cable. I even tried a normal Ethernet cable and that connected to Helix just fine (I guess its the correct pin out) but in no case have i been able to get Variax and Helix + Workbench working together. Workbench HD just inst seeing Variax through Helix. What the heck am I doing wrong?? Is the Variax JTV-69 (blue) not really supported with Workbench HD? Anyone out there who knows whats going on please let me know. Windows 7.
  13. Purchased a used FX100 at substantial savings and this is my third day w/the unit. Day one- Download and install both Line6 Updater and usb driver- check Update to ver 2.50.2. -check Update again in update mode- check Factory reset and pedal calibration- check Test Bluetooth connectivity, positive response w/both Galaxy7 and Galaxy tablet(SM-T230NU)- Check Test all factory presets- check Test all functions including pedal, tuner, audio playback, editing, saving, and sharing patches to cloud- check Day Two- Jam for a few hours and have fun playing w/different settings- check Connect unit to Windows10 PC and test connectivity to DAW(REAPER) w/positive response- check Day Three- Fire unit up and try to connect Bluetooth first to tablet and then to phone- FAIL Test Bluetooth functionality w/both devices on BT speaker w/positive response- Check Go to forum and post troubles- check I'm at my wits end. Tried clearing all devices and restarting all components. Failed like 6 times. Please, I need a solution, good people of the Line6 community. Thanx edit hours later- This is the RECing I did using the fx100. But the only patch off the unit is the rhythm guitar(2D: Wind Cries Mary). The bass sounded horrible patching through an empty user bank so I had to connect my UX2 interface and used a Guitar Rig5 patch. The lead is run through a blank patch in the 100 and into GR5. I couldn't find a decent sounding preset for the lead. Woulda been nice to configure one of my own. I used a clean vibrato for the lead. "Beach Party" http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13539765
  14. I've had a 150 since Dec 2015. It's been a pretty good amp so far, and I really like it. Just lately I've noticed that I have to manually connect my phone to it. When I power up the amp, the bluetooth light on it just doesn't come on at all. I have to push that button, then manually select it on my phone. A lot of the time I don't bother using it with my phone, since I have a FBV Shortboard MKII, but when I want to it's a bit of a pain to have to start fiddling with the amp and phone before it pairs up. Thoughts?
  15. Hi, I hope you are all well. I am a happy Helix owner. I play my own stuff (check out my album 'Green Light' by Martin Gordon) and I also play in a Genesis homage act. In the Genesis outfit I am playing both bass and guitar. At home I can get both bass and guitar to play out of my (phenomenal!!!) L2t which sounds great but at gigs when I route my outputs on the Helix to allow my sound man to take a stereo feed from my guitar and a mono feed from my bass I can't then figure out how to get both my instruments to play through my L2t (which acts as my amp/stage monitor). Any help would be appreciated as I bought this setup for this very purpose. I kind of know there is an easy solution...but I'm too guitarded to figure it out! Thanks, Martin www.martingordon.co P.s. Before anyone tries to advise against putting bass through the L2t...listen to it. The L2t can really drive a bass sound, especially if it's just for monitoring purposes. Those speakers are amazing!!!
  16. So I've been looking around, just trying to get some wireless gear, and I'm thinking, "Wouldn't it be nice if you can make everything wireless on an amp?" So I was wondering, since I'll need the money for a wireless guitar system, if there is any sort of way that you would connect the FBV pedals, I'm using the Express, to the Spider amps without the use of an RJ45 cable? Like the wireless receivers? It would be really neat, but I don't want to be stupid and buy things that were never going to work. Thanks, guys.
  17. Q: How do I conenct the POD to my computer to record? A: In order to record the audio signal of your POD / POD 2.0 directly into your computer, you will first need the proper type of software that is capable of recording audio loaded into your computer. You will also need a sound card that has an audio input. If you have a Soundblaster type of card, you will need a cable that has two 1/4 inch mono plugs on one end and one 1/8 inch stereo plug. This cable can be found at most major music retailers. The two 1/4 inch mono jacks on this cable will need to be inserted into the POD's Left and Right Outputs and the other end of the cable should be inserted into the audio input of your computer's sound card. Make sure your sound card and audio software are configured to receive audio input and you should be ready to record. If you are using another type of soundcard, like a unit that has an external break out box, you can plug directly into that box using a regular guitar cable of a balanced (TRS) cable. Be sure to check the documentation that came with the unit to configure it correctly. Q: How do I connect my POD to my computer via MIDI to edit tones with Line 6 Edit? A: In order to establish communication between your POD's MIDI In and Out and your computer, you will need a MIDI-USB Interface, such as the Roland UM-ONE or a MIDI interface, two standard MIDI cables and the cables necessary to connect the interface to your computer. If your computer is equipped with a Sound Blaster type MPU 401 sound card, you can simply use a Joystick Port to MIDI adapter cable. This cable will allow you to connect your POD's MIDI directly to your computers sound card and establish communication between your POD's MIDI and your computer. The cable should provide MIDI In and Out jacks on one end as well as a Joystick "Thru" connector on the other. The "Thru" connector will enable you to connect a game controller as well as the MIDI cable to your computer at the same time. Please be aware that some Windows computer systems have MIDI driver incompatibility issues that prohibit the use of the joystick port with MIDI products. These Windows machines will also need a MIDI interface.
