Hi, I just bought a Spider V 60, and really like it. I was disappointed to find the PC Remote app doesn't have any of the tone sharing features the iPad app has though. Is this something that's in development, or does Line 6 perhaps have some kind of exclusivity deal with Apple? I'm perplexed as to why it's available in one, but not the other. I'd much rather use my desktop mouse with one hand over picking up an iPad and swiping around with both hands.

This isn't a request, this is actually a solution. Mind you the performance of your PC, will determine how usable it is. I am also pretty sure that this isn't news to some of you, I just haven't found anything yet on these forums detailing that someone else has done this. I have pictured, my desktop, with both the Windows version and the Android version (in a vbox emulator) running simultaneously. If you notice, the Android version (on the right) has usb OTG access to my 240 HC, while my PC version does not. This is because it won't let me share with usb access with the PC and the Vmachine to the same bus at the same time. When I shut down the Android emulation, it gives me USB access from the PC version. What this means is that I can download tones from the cloud, using the Android app, and by saving them to my tone bank in my Spider V, I can then shut down the Android app, and then edit said tone in Windows without having to change from a tablet/phone to my PC. Directions are forthcoming...

Hello, i´m really excited from this AMP but there is still something to improve *imho - Why is it not possible to get tones from the cloud with the PC-Remote-App?? - Recording over USB with dry and wet Signal? - Dry and Wet Signal for the Direct Outs? - PODfarm-Tones not compatible with Spider-Tones. Why? - a record mode for the FBV2 to start/stop/record the Loop with the Pedal I hope there are some Ideas for the next update :)

Hi. I am new to Mobile POD and only got real experiences from Apps like JamUp, ToneStack, AmpKit. So far I use a App called iFile Organizer to play along over audio-tracks from my bandmates. iFile Organizer offers the ability to loop parts of a song and lets you decide the tempo up- and downwards. As the Mobile POD App offers similar features I thought about using these when jamming, but there is a big disadvantage, which seems to be the "import possibilities". Regardless to what other App I refer, all those others can be feed by using the "open in...", "Import to...", "send to..." feature of the cloud-services like iCloud, Drive and Dropbox where Mobile POD only seems to support the iTunes library as a source for imports into it's setlist. But this library itself can only be feed by purchasing tracks or syncing the music in your iTunes-Desktop library. Does anyone have a solution for this? How do you import playalong tracks into a music-setlist of Mobile POD?

Hi all, Just a quick one. In the Spider 5 app, when searching the cloud for tones, all I ever get is exactly 30 results, whatever I search for. It's the same on every demo I've seen of it. Is there a way to search for more, or have Line 6 capped the search number for some reason? Seems a bit daft if so! Cheers

Hi, Hope this gets picked up and put forward to Line6 as a suggestion. I tried with the suggestion link on the site but awaiting an account approval of some sort..just wanted to give feedback. I have a Spider IV 75w and FBV Shortboard MKII. Want to get a G50 relay at some point but they are way out of my budget. Great products though. Very impressed with the purchases and the free firmware upgrades. Hope they keep these updating for free as it was the main reason I bought the amp. Would be great to see a Spider Edit web application service either run locally on a WLAN or on the cloud. Obviously would require a USB/Wireless Lan Adapter dongle to connect to the FBV Shortboard MKII USB "B" port connection and initial configuration to connect to the server IP address. I have an Android tablet and would prefer the ability to use that than connect to another computer in an office running Windows 7 when my guitar and amp are in the shed normally. Surely this can be achieved with HTML 5. Just a thought and hope this makes it's way to the suggestions box for some positive feedback to Line 6. Cheers, Alkay.

If I create a tone and publish it, is there a way to modify the published tone so others can see my changes (without changing the tone's name and publishing another)? Or do I have to create new versions of the same tone, e.g 1, 2, 3, by renaming it and publishing again. Alternatively, is there a way of deleting a published tone, so I can republish another with the same name? Best regards, Torgeir
