Can you help me figure this out please? I want to cover the RAdiohead song Subterranean Homesick Alien. I need to get my sound right. The lead guitar has lots of effects. I don't even know where to begin. First off, I know nothing of effects. I've been playing guitar for a long time but all I've really had was a metal peddle and a wah peddle. I know nothing. I also have kids so I have no time to figure this stuff out. Any advice is appreciated. I googled this topic and found many people making suggestions but they do not match up with the tones I have available to me on my Line 6 Spider V.
People have suggested that the sound was created using a Roland Space Echo and a Whammy 1. Also perhaps a phaser and tape delay.
Any suggestions of how I can create this sound using my Spider V?
