I am running my HD500x to my Catalyst 200 using the 4 cable method which works great, I also plugged in a MIDI cable to the out\thru on the HD500x to the MIDI in on the catalyst but I'm having issues getting the two units to communicate after using the MIDI mapping guide from each unit. Im wondering if the HD500x MIDI is just to out dated to be compatible?

Got the new limited edition Veriax standard onyx guitar ordered and would like to pair it up with one of the Line 6 modelers, can not afford the Helix so thats out of the question, so which would you buy and why?, the Firehawk or the Pod HD500X, keep in mind i dont play out, just play at home, thanks.

What is the difference if any between the two other then color? Does it come with a case or gig bag?
