new to line 6 - can't seem to get monkey to see or activate my tone port gx and it won't update any drivers either. when i run licence manager it can't see the tone port even though it is plugged in and registered. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for that. It's a 300 electric and I have the manual but I'm not sure of the specific cable used to connect from the port under the little flap to the user interface. It was an eBay purchase and came with an xps foots witch but no cables.

newbie here so go easy-got my variax 300 and have the workbench software on my mac. i have an m-audio m track and garage band. Question-what usb interface and cable would you recommend to connect the guitar to workbench?
