I have a Line 6 Spider with Bogner tube amp and the chip for pre amp went out and it can't be replaced / fixed. So, my question is if I get a Line 6 HD400 and run it straight to the back of amp input {Which I believe bypasses the pre amp} will this unit replace the pre amp in the Spider amp so I can have effects and amp back? It was a killer small amp I bought for my home studio for people to use.

I will register the amp and get a support Ticket after work Friday . Thanks again for all the help. Working long days with my remodeling company trying to get a job done.

I have one of the original Spider Valve 112 with Bogner and I am having the problem with no sound and the black box read out on it. Can it be fixed ? I took it to a shop and they told me they couldn't get the part {35-00-0250 DSP board } Can Line 6 fix it if I send the board to them ? I would hate to pitch it, it's a great little amp with a big sound that most choose to play through when they come to my studio. Thanks ,will do.
