I have a new MacBook Air and a Helix Floor running v. 2.81 firmware. After reading the release notes and the Pilot's Manual for HX Edit I have a question. The Edit 3.11 Pilot's Guide says, in highlighted text, "Important, Your Helix ... must be running firmware no earlier than 3.00 to be able to use it with HX Edit version 3.11...." Does this mean that I can't back up and update my Helix Floor with HX Edit 3.11? Or, does it simply mean that until you update both the firmware and the Edit version to greater than 3.00 you can't access the new features? If it means the former, to which version of HX Edit should I update so I can update the firmware to 3.00?
Any help would be appreciated.
